RHO vs Tungsten vs loaded Rebel with current pricing

Considering swapping out my current GMC AT4 for a new Ram. I love the looks of the RHO but given current discounts would you go with the RHO, Tungsten or a loaded Rebel? Mainly used for a daily driver and for hunting and hauling hockey gear. I do tow a couple time a year for camping.

- RHO Level 1: Love the looks of the truck, though the gas milage concerns me a bit (not that my 6.2L v8 in the AT4 is super efficient). Also a little concerned about parking it with as wide as it is. Finding prices around 80k.

- Tungsten: Love the interior, hate the chrome. Super low payload concerns me. Great deals right now around 67K

- Rebel: Hard to find one fully optioned out but looks to be about 61k if I do.

Do you think it's worth it spending 12k more on the RHO than the other 2?

Edit: Updated the Rebel cost.

Question for those with retractable roller impact screens

I'm considering replacing my impact screen with one of the Carls premium grey ones since my screen is starting to show some wear after 4 years or so. I currently have a Par2Pro stealth 16'x9.5' screen with a sportscreen backing on an automated roller.

I have 2 questions:

  1. Has anyone used the standard Carl's Place or similiar screen with the black boarders and grommets on a retractable screen? If so do you have any issue with it rolling up? I'm a little concerned about the boarders or grommets bunching up when it is rolling up. I am currently having Carls quote me a custom one without this but just wondering if I can use the standard one.

  2. Would I be missing anything if I removed the sportsscreen backing I currently have and just attach the impact screen directly to the roller? I've heard the backing can help with noise and light bleed but not sure if it does or not since I have always just had it on.

Worth it to upgrade TH671ST to 4K (AK700ST or TK710sti)?

Been having the itch to upgrade my TH671ST projector to something 4K both for the golf sim and for watching sports / movies. I have a 16'x9' screen in my garage. The TH671st does a pretty good job even with the ambient lights I have from the Govee strip lights I just put in but am wanting to squeeze out more resolution and hopfully a little more brightness. I can control room brightness very well if I need to.

I was looking at the AK700ST and the TK710sti and was wondering if anyone upgraded from the TH671st to one of these and if you thought it was worth it. I know I will also need to upgrade my GPU to support this.

Resolution, brightness and 3D keystone are important to me but auto-screen fit is not since I don't think it will work on my screen anyway since it does not have boarders. I know the AK700ST has higher lumens than the TK710sti but I have read that when using the AH700st in golf mode (could not find detail on AK) it actually has less lumens than the TK710sti in living room mode (best for colors).

So ultimately I am trying to figure out if either of these are worth it to upgrade from the TH671st and then is it worth it to spend an extra $1000 to get the AK700ST over the TK710sti.

▲ 1 r/FiiO

Lately I've been having some weird issues that I believe are being caused by the FiiO K7 or some interaction with it and my Mac and Soundsource.

I've been having issues where YouTube videos will not play if I am outputting sound from the K7 to my external speakers. It will freeze the YouTube video or just not play at all. If I switch to the built in Mac Mini speakers it works fine.

Restarting my Mac several times usually corrects it for a few days.

Has anyone else had similar issues and know how to fix it?
