Reklamerade defekta RAM-minnen.

Worth upgrading from 7900xt to 9070xt?

Hi,

The upgrade would cost around 150$ if I manage to sell my GPU. I'm mainly worried about suboptimal FSR performance in the future.

I have a 7800x3d and 32gb of RAM.

PC starts for a second before immediately shutting off (SOLVED)

Hi. Posting this in case someone's searching for a fix on Google/Reddit.

A couple of weeks ago my computer randomly refused to boot one morning. If I turned it on, all of the fans would spin and the RGB would light up for maybe a second before immediately turning off by itself.

At first I thought my MOBO was faulty as I had issues with it before. Some RAM slots didn't work but I couldn't be bothered to troubleshoot it (yes, very stupid). Bought a new MOBO and experienced the same issues.

Then I tested another CPU and the computer worked fine. Sent in my CPU on AMD's limited warranty and got a replacement. Now my PC works fine, including both of my RAM sticks.

I suspect my old MOBO fried my CPU. Apparently this is a common issue and I'd forgotten to update my BIOS which is supposed to fix this.

Specs:
GPU: ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XT Phantom Gaming OC
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 - 6000mhz - 32GB
MOBO: ASUS Prime B650M-A WIFI II

Is my GPU dead? (ASRock 7900 xt)

Hi.

I started experiencing issues with my PC recently. It would turn on for maybe half a second before immediately shutting off.

I thought it was my PSU but I narrowed it down to a CPU (7800X3D) issue after thinking there was something wrong with the MOBO (ASUS Prime B650M-A WIFI II). I made this conclusion after first testing another MOBO (after which the PC experienced the same issue) and testing a different CPU (after which it booted successfully and showed image).

Once I figured out that the CPU was dead, I tried booting with my old GPU inserted + new CPU and MOBO.

Now the GPU RGB just barely flickers (fans still spinning though) and the MOBO is showing a solid white light for VGA. Is my GPU dead?
