Discovered the reason for my ladycheep looking so disheveled lately 🥹😍

She brought her baby! It had just rained so the camera has water droplets covering it so it's not the best video but so cute 😍

Fledgling learns how to open her own peanut

Usually watching the babies try to open peanuts is comical, but this baby did it all by herself today!

Was taking pics of my ladycheep and ended up with a fun backlit picture of her nifty mohawk

Picture of her mohawk in its fully sunlit glory is the second photo

My crows had an unexpected visitor during breakfast...everyone stayed pretty calm

In the last part I think it flew back over by the way they were all visually tracking something in the sky

First clip...is it a baby crow fledging or an adult?

The crow's nest in my yard was VERY active today, the babies were flapping, standing on the edge of the nest, hopping around a bunch and I was so sure I was about to see a fledge but did not. However, looking back on the videos I took, maybe I did? The first clip a crow hops out of the nest to a branch and takes off. I assumed it was a parent in the moment because both parents were frequently visiting the nest. But maybe its tail is too small to be an adult? I edited two clips back to back, the first is the crow in question (baby? adult? help me decide) and the second clip is mom or dad coming into the best so you can compare easily. What do you think? Did I witness a fledge after all or was that first clip an adult like I originally thought?
