How old were you when you had your first hiperfixation?

I'm diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome (my country still uses it as an official diagnosis) since 2023.

I'm 17 (I will turn 18 this summer) and it's the first time I'm experiencing interest (Evangelion anime) that is so intense that I can call it a hiperfixation. Is it normal for a person with Asperger to experience hiperfixation for the first time at 17-18 years old? Or do most of us experience it as a kid?

Did any of you cried during watching Rebuilds?

I want to know am I the only one. I cried during the 3rd rebuild because of what happened to Rei. Rebuild 2.0 made me emotionally attached to her and 3rd rebuild is the first anime that ever made me cry

ELI5: Why people say they are "going to the movies" and not "going to the movie" although usually you watch only 1 movie in the theatre?

Unless Americans do it differently (I live in a non English-speaking country and I was never in any English-speaking country so idk) and watch multiple movies in one day, you watch only 1 movie when you're in the theatre, so it doesn't make sense
