Hopefully we get an official one akin to the original Fantastic Four announcement art. I absolutely loved that one. Credit for the art of the actors as their characters goes to BossLogic. Except the Professor X one. I found that photo with no credit so unfortunately can’t say who made it.
Thought people might be interested in seeing the start of it. Apologies for my bad hand writing. It was written pretty quickly and made to look like it was scrawled down by a man who has just found himself in a nuclear wasteland. It’s interesting to factor in real like travel times when writing this. For example, the Old North Bridge is about a 6 hour walk to Cambridge, Massachusetts irl. So the idea of defeating the Institute a couple weeks after leaving the Vault is really silly. I always figure it to be more likely around early-mid December.
It’s really annoying to always only have her there. Especially when Trevor, Vi, and Lily are all more interesting personalities (and better people).

I want to change my build to an energy weapons and it seems the Enclave Plasma Rifle Ultracite Laser Gun is best. So I’m looking for a top tier one that isn’t bloodied. In exchange you are welcome to as much of the above as you like.
I prefer these kinds of build. Something that looks realistic/plausible that a single Vault Dweller could build, especially with the limited resources realistically available. There’s far too many enormous, messy, meme, physics defying builds out there so I always love coming across a good one like this!
My own current camp is a small log cabin near Sutton (my dream is of Sutton becoming a Vault 76 faction city). But I’m not super happy with it and wanting to redo it. Would love to see some more people’s realistic/plausible builds for inspiration!

I’ve recently come back into my Fallout hyper-fixation phase and been playing everything I missed in Fo76. Just finished the Burning Springs expansion and was pretty disappointed. A few thoughts:
- Bullet sponges are a pain and completely ruin immersion
- Why was The Ghoul so hyped up for this and the face of all the promo when he had the smallest role imaginable and was utterly unnecessary
- Highway Town was really cool. Loved the concept, loved the execution. Could have had more named characters but overall was a very nice addition that felt very Fallout if that makes sense
- I’m not really a fan of the Rust Raiders taming Deathclaws. It hugely downplays one of the Enclave’s shows of strengths by taming and controlling Deathclaws to fight for them when some random group of raiders can do it to and seemingly more effective
And now for my main disappointment. The quest line was bad. It had great potential to be an epic quest line but instead was just kind of a flop. I loved the idea of gathering an army to take down the tyranny of the Rust King. But then it was just pathetically bad with the “army” being 4 people against an actual big army.
I’d have instead had the questline be longer. Gathering an army could depend on choices you’ve made throughout your gameplay. Yeah you recruit those 3 people from the expansion but then maybe you could go back to Appalachia and try to persuade allied factions to join the fight he before the Rust King invades. If you sided with Rahmani then maybe you can encourage the BoS to send a couple vertibirds for arial support. If you side with Shin he refuses because he doesn’t want the BoS helping people.
Perhaps you could recruit Crater or Foundation to send some fighters depending on who you allied with for the Vault 79 heist. If you’re a Ghoul you could recruit the Revenants.
Could even make it an event akin to Scorched Earth where it’s still a mission that plays a critical role in the story. You put a call-out to other Vault 76 residents to assist in taking down the tyrant.
But no. Get 3 people to help you take on a full fucking army.
I know it ended with the Rust Ming saying this isn’t the last time he’ll face the player but I don’t expect anything to come from that line beyond maybe one more extremely minor questline where nothing happens. I feel like almost every update they have an amazing opportunity and yet they very rarely hit the mark.

I was at the recent science fair in Dynamic Earth and got chatting to a woman who’s been overseeing the construction of a research station up on one of the uninhabited islands in the Outer Hebrides near South Uist. Sounded really interesting. She was being somewhat discreet about what research will be done there - but I reckon it’s just a weather station.
I think her name was Maureen MacTavish?
Does anyone know how I could get in contact with her as I’d love to hear more about the research they’ll be doing!
I’ve been out all day and left my window open a little. This poor little girl must have flown in and got stuck. Found her just sitting on my windowsill looking exhausted. Gave her some sugar water and she’s perked up. She’s walking around now and flexing her wings. Read online they can’t navigate at night so going to make a wee ventilated box for her to sleep in tonight and let her out in the morning.
Going to call her Beeatrice.
Any other advice for keeping her safe and for a safe release tomorrow would be appreciated.

I recently learned that Matthew Murdock was arrested and jailed awaiting trial. NYPD said it was for the crimes committed by Daredevil. But it left me with a question…
Why?
Why was he arrested? He’s far from the only hero who had committed these crimes in the name of the greater good. Hell, his aren’t even the worst crimes. Assault, attempted murder (this one I question).
Other heroes whose identities have been public for a hell of a long time have outright murdered people, caused untold damage, and so much more.
Now I’m not in favour of any of them being arrested either as I think their actions caused more good than bad. I just don’t get the double standards as to why Matthew Murdock was arrested but, say Tony Stark, wasn’t? And it’s not like it’s because he didn’t register with the UN. The Sokovia Accords were scrapped years ago.
