I, mid 30’s male, realized I have been an insufferable Karen to people around me.
I did some introspection from the mandatory feedback I had gathered from people at work and came to the realization I had projected the unimaginably high standards I have for myself on other people and everyone just thought of me as a complete asshole. A 2,5/10 personalty. I started noticing peoples smiles drop when they’d see me and get tense and guarded and couldn’t figure out why. Never was invited along. At the same time I an quite happy with myself and my achievements.

Looking at Karen videos I suddenly understood: I am a Karen.

Lashing out when things don’t go my way, if not directly agressive then passive agressive, enforcing myself dominantly against other’s will without any open communication, I was literally acting like a male version of a Karen. This became the moment I started to reevaluate my character and how I communicate.
