Just a few holiday weekend photos
Found an imposter among us at the end lol

Found an imposter among us at the end lol
I like to drive barefoot sometimes and love the feeling of carpet. Kinda cool kinda goofy lol
Spent the first month road tripping and commuting with 100% free supercharging. Only charged at home once to perform a battery test spending $20
Loving it, and loving the FSD!
Coming from a beloved modified and tuned BMW, I had to go for the Performance 3. If I could do it again however, I would have gone for the Premium to offset the FSD cost.
Would not have thought I prefer being driven after all these years, so we’re subscribing to FSD.
Only minor issues have popped up so far: a rattle above the headliner has appeared which I fixed with foam - it’s the same issue from the original Model 3 pre facelift, and a rattle above both AV vents have appeared… also fixed with foam per a TSB- a known issue with the Highlands. Everything else has been perfect!
(I had a Model 3 SR+ back in 2019, went back to ICE BMWs, then now back to Model 3 Performance, but a Premium would have been good too)
I do wish burgers were still a quarter each... But then there probably wouldn’t be Tesla or FSD…
In the frame by frame, FSD brakes first, no doubt.
Then in the split second that I saw in the corner of my eye the fire truck with its strobe lights on, I sensed FSD tapping the brakes hard but also felt some hesitation so I decided to go full on brake stomp for this one…
Do y’all think FSD would have come to a full stop or gunned it like the SUV on my right. The SUV swerves a bit to the left cause this was definitely an “oh s#it” moment in my opinion for all of us, and I was afraid the FSD was going to stop us right in front of the truck.
My partner said the truck was supposedly not running it’s sirens and I don’t recall hearing them either. Scary.
Edit: Thank you everyone who has responded. In my first month of returning back to Tesla FSD (last was FSD Beta in 2020 on HW3), my new model 3 has technically driven itsef for 4,500 miles up and down all around California, over total 5,000 miles odometer. While I have grown to rely and trust FSD a lot, I'm glad I chose to take over and brake in this situation, especially because my partner was right next to me on the side of the truck.
Took some garage pictures today on a SoCal trip. I think Quicksilver looks best in garages/industrial settings imo.
just kidding! This is not about Gelson‘s or garages, or maybe it is. I’m just so excited to have seen a cybercab up close!!
Tesla should paint special colored superchargers all around the country so we owners have more road trip things to do lol
Felt very majestic to be able to bring my quicksilver to this special spot yesterday night especially with the interestingly colored night sky. Number 50,000 is located at one of the sites in Roseville, CA and painted a special color.

went to Roseville, CA to take a picture of the 50,000th supercharger (will post more pictures later) and had to go pee at the westfield mall. came out to see the pretty sky lol
Supercharger no. 50,000: Here
We all know Quicksilver color is the best color so, when I saw the Y, I had to park next to it and take a picture.
Not sure if Tesla owners have this but I also have a Mini Cooper where we have unwritten rules (for fun), and Rule #1 is always park next to your own kind lol
Also why do I find myself curious about the Y more sometimes…
Had a chance to ride in a robotaxi in San Francisco this weekend. Very smooth and pleasant ride (just like FSD). And the drivers really don’t talk to you (other than us saying hello and hello back). Very hard to book a ride though as it would always say “high demand.” Very fair pricing as well compared to Uber, Waymo, etc.
Cant wait to try out the Cyber Cab.
First time seeing one in person and I think it’s very beautiful, especially with the white interior, giving really classy and luxurious vibes. Would look perfect on a beach with palm trees for sure.
So sad that there’s no more sex S/X production moving forward…
There were so many frost blues on delivery trucks in Fremont area. What do you think if Tesla had white door handles, and maybe even white trim from factory? Or heck, I kind of miss the chrome trim too lol

Reposting after checking the rules, so hopefully this post will be ok.
Just wanted to share that my recent short trip to check out the Tesla Diner over the holiday weekend, after picking up my Model 3 (a week prior) was a very comfortable ride. The Model 3 Performance’s adaptive suspension and sport seats were really comfy and soaked up bumps really well. Only wished there was less wind noise by the top of the windshield, and Auto/Low Fan HVAC was quieter (for some reason, manual lowest is quietest). FSD made the entire drive very pleasant, not taxing at all.
Prior to this, we had a 2019 Model 3 SR+, and we took a break from Tesla because we found the ride to be a bit harsh, and the smaller battery made us charge too frequently on trips. Now we’re back, and also really happy Tesla built out so many abundant charging stops along Interstate 5 here in the West Coast compared to many years back.
Overall very happy and appreciative, to have come back.
We picked up our Quicksilver Model 3 Performance last week and decided to play with the 30 day FSD free trial on a short SF/LA run this Memorial Day weekend, and now the decision not to subscribe when the free trial is up just got that much more difficult… we drive a s*** ton (over 30-40k miles, sometimes more, a year).
Prior to this we had a Model 3 SR+ with FSD Beta back around 2020, then switched to a different brand, and now we’re back. What a big difference in FSD. It is so much more mature now!
Here’s our sort of Tesla Diner food review: Long story short, we arrived way too early in the morning not knowing their dine in hours, and for some reason we couldn’t order food from the car even though we were supercharging, so we actually went somewhere else and had a big 4am breakfast instead... We came back around 10am later in the day while still being partly full and tried out their chili, fried pickles, and fries. All were very tasty, just somewhat pricey.
Wishes: The diner is a very cool and interesting attraction to visit. Wished they would have 24/7 dine in hours as we would have totally splurged on the food in the dark of night. No Optimus bot serving popcorn, bummer, but still all good..
