I have my Omnipod on my thigh, left side towards the back. I feel like the site is low absorption. So, I am currently having a high that is taking forever to come down.

Has anyone just waited it out and slept through it and then been fine?

I just don’t want to change the pod again cause I just changed it this morning and I am waiting on my insulin to be approved by insurance for a fill so I’m trying to save the last couple bottle of insulin I have

Was thinking walking the 606 trail and hoping to see some.

Did anyone get a 2 door then regret it and wanted a 4 door. Everyone is telling me to get a 2 door cause I currently drive a Jeep renegade (I know I know leave my moving square alone) but they feel it would be more similar in size to get a 2 door vs 4 door

EDIT: no kids, in my 20’s just me, my bf and 2 French bulldogs. We live in Chicago (more city part) and this will be my daily car. As I am in grad school & work

Obviously no one wants a rebuilt title but does anyone actually have a Jeep they love that’s a rebuilt and they did the research and saw it was like a mile collision or something

Do you really have to leave your Omnipod on the same side as your sensor?

I was denied my insulin on Monday so I went a day without it and nearly went into DKA. I self treated it at home and doing better but I still have high ketones. I know going to the hospital is what is best but I went back in January and I truly can’t do another bill.

I have no overly stressed my body
I had a balanced meal
I have been hydrating and had electrolytes
Nearly been on a little bed rest

What other things do you recommend to lower my ketones?

I currently have a 2017 Jeep Renegade. I love her but she came with no features not even Bluetooth. I am looking at 2018 Jeep Wrangler. I would love auto start and CarPlay. But I might have to go for a 2016 Jeep Wrangler and add the features myself to save on money.

I was hosting today cause we are down a host and some prego girls come in and then walk back out and seat themselves in the patio. I say “hey we are no longer seating out here but you can sit anywhere inside” she gets up and goes “ughhh it’s cold in there” as I’m holding the door for them letting them in. I instantly just slip out and say “then go home” one girl goes “did you just tell us to go home that rude as fuck” and I respond with “yes, I am doing what is being told by my manager and I can not seat you outside” this is all like 40 min before close btw so it’s like 8:20. Then the girl just keeps going on about how rude it was for me to say that and one tries getting in my face about it (she’s at least 6 months prego) and I say “you know what you are right I own up to what I said and it was wrong. Would you like to stay or leave” they then say they are gonna stay so I grab them silverware and menus. I let them know “hey we are doing last call in 10 min so let me get a server for you” they cut me off and say they are ready so I re say “I said your server which I am not” and walk away and never return to the table. 15 min later (the very prego one) goes outside and sit in the patio I told her not too. I just ignore it. She is literally outside hitting a vape while prego which is illegal here to spoke within a certain amount of feet of an establishment. The busser yells at her to stop and she does. After that it’s just the most awk 40 min and I just ended my hosting shift (that I do as a favor) and leave. Sorry I needed to rant this out
