Luxe Breeze Medium Hybrid or Firm?

5’8” 200 lbs with neck and lower back pain. Vacillating between the Luxe Breeze Medium Hybrid and the Firm. I want something that feels like sleeping on a cloud, but that also provides the support I need. I liked the way the Adapt felt but am worried it’d be too hot.

Was told I’m going to hell (TW: death)

Someone in my life is hospitalized and may be actively dying. I visited them today and in their bouts of wakefulness, they told me that the world is going to hell, that I will be there too, and that I’ll never see my child again.

This person is not a fire and brimstone Christian. I KNOW this is not their belief. I know they are very sick right now.

But holy shit, even as someone who’s been deconstructing for the last 10 years, that comment tore me to pieces. I left feeling like I better get my ass to church and become a believer, or I’d never see my child again when the earth ends (and soon, according to them).

I don’t know what I’m looking for or if this is even the best sub to post this in. I guess it just feels like you can leave religion behind, but the trauma and fear never really leave you.

Ruined plans

I’m just really tired of migraines ruining my plans. Even if my rescue meds work, I know I have to take it easy for the remainder of the day. I’m so tired of missing out on my life and feeling like a loser because I can’t reliably show up to fun experiences.

Need reqs similar to Severance!

Just finished Severance and it was so good, I’ll be buying a physical copy for my bookshelf. Knowing it was written before the 2020 panini was incredibly eerie.

I loved Ling Ma’s writing style. The (somewhat) low-stakes storyline allowed her to create a world for us felt very Backrooms, and was just pleasant to listen to. Reminiscent of Handmaids Tale (tv show) when June >!lived in an office building for a while!<.

If anyone has reqs that feel similar, please drop them here! I tried Permanence, which felt similar in vibes but just didn’t do it for me. I’m starting to find that I prefer weird girl lit that isn’t heavy on the romance (Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine, I Who Have Never Known Men), but am open to it.
