My Moss arrived, always a gamble buying random patterned plush online but I LOVE his face patterns! The only thing is that the fur was trimmed back too far in a couple places, so you could see the white fabric backing on the bald patches. He was heavily discounted so I'm not bothered by that, and definitely wouldn't send him back. I used a copic marker to try and colour in the white fabric and it worked!! Now he's perfect 🥰

If anyone has similar issues with a bear, I definitely recommend trying a copic marker in a matching colour to blend it in with the rest of the fur.

Changing his name to Doolittle (or maybe Mr Grieves 🤔) since his colour scheme is just like the Pixies album lol

Last pic he's with Miss Liddell (renamed Silver), who I also got in the sale and am so happy with her patterns too, I wanted one with black over one eye and got lucky!

They have a piece of each other 🖤💜

When I bought the Void Depression Bunny, I got an Oddfuls to go with him - which ended up being the Lavender Love Bunny! I feel so lucky, they look perfect together and I'm so happy with them both.

I had also bought the Midnight Cloak for him, but a teddy bear ended up stealing it (seen on last slide) so I went into my box of toy clothes to see if anything fit them.

In the end I chose the scrungly bunny ear hat for Lavender and an eyepatch for Void. It's like she's wearing his ears and he's covering an eye like her missing one 🥹

Other slides show some other try-ons including a hoodie that was too small and made him totally snatched lmao

I have another order on the way so he might end up getting the "don't perceive me" hoodie when it arrives, depends if any teddies steal it first 😅

Genuinely thought this is where they were going with this scene [ep9 spoilers]

Tagging as shitpost because of the drawings but honestly I genuinely 100% thought >!when Pomni was inside Jax's mind, the deepest door to the True Inner Jax was gonna be the skinned yellow guy version. And that she'd accept him and whatever his inner demon emotional shit was, and then he'd be saved and come back somehow but as yellow guy!<

Am I stupid?

For the record, I watched the whole show then film in one week and never saw any fandom stuff or theories etc

Update: Little guy got his buttons!

An update to my previous post about customising this Noopy, he now has his buttons sewn on!

Thanks to everyone that gave feedback on the different button arrangements, I tried to keep the balance of the most popular one and the expressiveness of the next most popular. I also managed to get some more buttons, and found these little ball shaped ones that work way better on the mouth than the circles so I could do both the mouth and the cheek blush circles.

I also did some thread sculpting and trimmed his fur. Last pic shows the before!

Brand is Magical Noopy by Kitycrylics, this little guy is BonBon but I've renamed mine Bric-a-Brac ❤️

Which button pattern looks best?

I want to add some mini buttons to my plush, so I tried a few different layouts without sewing them down. Which pattern looks best?

I feel like the red on the mouth edge looks more clown-like, but red on the cheeks is cuter... Also I will probably fill in the gaps with random shapes but wanted to get the main face area figured out first!

The plush is a Magical Noopy by Kitycrylics

EDIT: I have counted the votes (and votes from irl opinions) and the ranking is as follows...

1st: A with 43%

2nd: D with 27%

3rd: B with 22%

4th: C with 8%

It seems A is most balanced looking, and D and B are most expressive (gentle vs gremlin)

Taking into account the votes and feedback, I'm going to try and combine A and D by moving the "A" triangles closer over the eyes to look less like eyebrows, but add the "D" heart brows. For the red, I am going to try and find smaller round buttons for the mouth as I agree the mouth circles look a bit off, but maybe I can still get that aesthetic with little ball shape buttons instead of circles... then maybe the "A" red cheeks could be in star shapes or something instead. So it might be a while for an update as I try to get more buttons but will post pics when he's been customised!

Thanks so much to everyone for helping! I really don't wanna ruin him so it helps so much 🥺

Also Kitycrylics will have a backerkit campaign launching soon for some new Noopy plushies so definitely check it out if you like this lil guy! (I'm not affiliated or anything, just love these plushies lol)

Hoping for some advice for a 2nd visit to Japan, in November

On the first trip we stayed in Otsuka for 3 nights before moving on to Kyoto/Miyajima/Osaka. We liked everywhere we stayed but hated changing hotels so much, so this time it'll be 8 nights in Tokyo followed by a cruise that leaves from Yokohama.

For the 8 nights we're looking at staying at a hotel close to Togoshi station and this is what I'm unsure about. It looks good from my research but other than Togoshi Ginza I haven't really seen many people mentioning the area, so wondering if anyone has any experience staying there?

We're planning on visiting Shibuya, Asakusa, Mount Takao, Shinjuku and Yokohama. The plan is pretty loose as we want to have space to relax or do stuff on a whim.

Things about Togoshi that appeal to us:

- close to a train station

- walking distance from Togoshi Ginza, Togoshi park, some shrines

- seems like a nice quiet area (we're introverts and not really into city nightlife lol)

- Seems to be the sort of place that's nice to "get to know" over the week rather than a day trip destination

- cheaper hotel cost

Things I'm unsure about:

- 30-50mins train ride to get to the larger city areas we want to visit (longer for mt takao but that'd be long anyway)

- We don't speak Japanese so that may cause more issues than in the big tourist areas? Like if there's fewer screens to order from at restaurants etc

- If we get tired of the trains, we could run out of things to explore on foot in the area

- May need to leave places early to catch a train back

If anyone has stayed in the Togoshi area I'd love to hear about your experience!
