I hate when people say “ you cant not like children, because they are the most innocent and pure things on the planet”

Like what does that even mean. I genuinely don’t understand. I have worked with children and from experience kids are mean bullies. Most of them. They are out there on the playground killing butterflies for fun.

Many adults are innocent and pure. Animals are innocent and pure. Like is that a reason to have to like something?

And after people say this sentence they usually top it off with “there has to be something seriously wrong with you”. Every video I come across on tiktok or social media about people being against someone who doesn’t like children they say this.

Customers coming in before opening pisses me off

I work at a small cafe and I usually do morning shifts and I open the cafe every morning. We open our cafe at 9am, and I get there at around 8.15am so I can get everything ready for the customers and have extra 5 mins before opening to have a small break, drink coffee and have a snack.

If I have everything ready I usually open the doors for the customers 8.50, so if there is someone they can get in and don’t have to wait.

Some info, my sister and I own this cafe and we founded it 6 years ago. Its a really small cafe in a wooden historical building that has no windows or see through doors and we lock the doors from the outside and there is no way to lock the doors if you are inside.

So this is the part I am pissed off about. I am so grateful for everyone who comes in our cafe and everyones support is highly appreciated but it just really annoys me, when they come in at 8.30, open the doors that are closed with a sign that says closed, but they feel entitled to come in and open the door. Then they get annoyed when I don’t have coffee ready and I say that “we are closed sorry” they say “I can wait” and go sit on one of the chairs.

You all have no idea how annoyed I get. Does anyone else have this or is it just me

My first ever bonsai and some questions as a beginner

I bought this beautiful Fukien Tea yesterday! I have some questions about watering it.

How wet should the soil be like all the time? I watched videos of the watering but didn’t quite get the answer I wanted so should the soil be wet or damp all the time?

Or should I sink the whole pot and on a bucket of water like some people do, because when I bought this the soil was really dry.

Also should I get it a new pot, because its looking pretty full?

Something is wrong with my chick

Hi everyone! This chick is two weeks old, but she appears to have some issues and I am looking for answers if someone knows what is this and how I could help her!

My chick has something wrong with her eyes as you can see in the picture, im not sure if its an infection or something. Her eyes look dirty and so does her back, i tried cleaning it up a bit. Her eyes are also watery and looks like they have some gound on them.

She eats and drinks well, but has some issues keeping up with the other chicks. Sometimes she just sits in the corner and she cant really fly or climb away from their nest in the morning. She tries her best to keep up with the others.

None of the other chicks or chickens have this issue and she looked like this when she hatched. Does anyone know what this could be?

My military service is coming to an end and I am having mixed feelings about it

Hi! Dont know if this is the right platform for this, but I want to discuss on this with people outside my friends and family

At the start of this January I started my military service which could last 11 months or 6 months and I applied and got 6 months. Now I have 21 days left until going back to civilian life.

This has been one of the hardest things Ive ever done. The first month I was sure I would end my service and go home. Well I stayed when it came mandatory after 30 days of service.

I’ve got to experience and do so many crazy things and I have met the most amazing people and gotten new best friends for life.

90% of the time in here I was hoping that this experience comes to an end and I could go back to my normal life. But at times I deep down regret not applying for 11 months of service, because this is a once in a lifetime experience and I will never come back here.

It is hard going back to normal life after this. Leaving all the people behind I lived with and experienced all this with. Most of these people I will never see again.

I am so happy but sad that this is coming to an end. And I would hope that if someone has a same kind of experience, you could share how you overcame a huge change in your life.

Meals to eat and stopping snacks

Hi!

I am 20 years old and I weigh about 195lbs and my height is 5’3. I have been overweight my whole life.

One of my huge problems is that I hate normal foods. I would only eat breakfast and snacks if I could. I have tried to lose weight basically ever since I was 12, but I haven’t succeeded.

I never crave a normal warm meal. I get nauseous even thinking about having to eat a whole meal. I usually eat a breakfast and the rest of the day eat nothing but snacks throughout the day.

I hate cooking. But I have decided that I have to get myself together and start eating like a person should.

So my question is, what meals could be good for weight loss, and somehow enjoyable for me? I cannot eat, chicken or tomatoes because of allergies.
