These two are getting along really well. I was worried at first when we brought Twyla home about a month ago but Oscar is adapting well to having a puppy around. She thinks the world of him and follows him around everywhere ❤️
I’ve been thinking about getting an new cab and I’ve been looking at the Sunn 312T. However, there’s only one demo of the 312T I can find on YouTube (from the video demoing the new beta lead), and there’s only one demo of their 4x12 doom box. Both videos are made by Sunn themselves. Has anyone actually bought one of these cabs? Are they good? Worth the price? Thanks
We got our big Shiba named Oscar from a local shelter last year. He’s about 3 now, but obviously fully grown when we got him. (We are currently doing a DNA test to see just how much Shiba he really is.) Since then my wife has been obsessed with what shibas look like as puppies, and we finally pulled the trigger and found this beautiful little girl. Her name is Twyla and she is about 14 weeks old. My kids (ages 8 and 10) are having a blast with a new puppy.
So far Oscar isn’t a big fan of the little baby but I think he’s slowly coming around. He is very protective of us and can be aggressive around food. The times they are together are heavily supervised at the moment. Any tips for getting them to get along when introducing a new puppy? She wants to play with everyone and everything and he’s….not enthusiastic about it so far lol. Maybe it just takes time.
Recorded some riffs in stereo. This is also my first time actually using mics on a real cabs. Two in this case. Orange OR15 through a Sunn 1x15 with a celestion fullback panned hard left, Sunn Alpha 112 panned hard right. Drums are just a pattern from addictive drums 2. The first riff is one I made up but the second and third should be pretty recognizable even though I’m a bad guitar player. Cheers!
Made a little demo jam using StompTones Moonn Death, which is a software clone of the Earthquaker Sunn Life Pedal. Using the Les Paul Studio doomstick I posted yesterday. Thanks to everyone who posted their axe and interacted with me on that one! I got to see lots of cool guitars
2024 Gibson Les Paul Studio, stock pickups, currently set up in C standard with Ernie Ball not even slinky strings. Usually run this through one of several orange amps, then into a Randall 4x12.

I did a little demo/shootout of 2 cheap ways of getting that cranked Model T sound without spending thousands. One is the Acapulco Gold pedal from Earthquaker Devices, the other is a plugin called Moonn Silver by StompTones. Links to both are in the video description.
