Looking for a 36G plunge bra with an even lower gore. No, lower than that. Lower. Lower!!

Looking for a 36G plunge bra with an even lower gore. No, lower than that. Lower. Lower!!

Hey, all. I made a post a little while ago looking for a replacement for my beloved Panache Ana Plunges, which in smaller cup sizes fit perfectly, but in larger cup sizes seems to have a slightly longer underwire which results in a gore that stabs me in my extremely short sternum. I've been wearing a mis-sized 36E, which is fine in the gore but too small in the cup.

Based on people's responses, I went on Bravissimo and ordered an Elomie Tiernie, a Bravissimo Esmae, a Bravissimo Posey, and, just for experimentation's sake, a Panache Heidi, which is supposed to be based on the Ana. All were ordered in size 36G, per the calculator.

My friends, the gores are just too high. All of them.

The Bravissimo Posey is probably closest to having a low enough gore and the construction I like, but it's actually too small in the cup somehow? I guess I could try it in a 36H? I can't tell if it's just comfortable to sit in because the gore doesn't tack properly in this cup size, though. It's also pretty frilly and not exactly great under everyday clothes.

The Esmae is adorable but kinda.... soft. I didn't feel very supported in it, didn't like the shape it gave me, and the gore is too high. Overall no.

I thought the Tiernie might be just about it, and I might just need to swap over to the Lucie for what looks like more side support and hopefully losing the stupid elastic at the edge of the cup. But then I sat in it for a few minutes, and that soft, padded gore.... started to dig. After about 10 minutes I was uncomfortable enough to need to take it off, and it left marks on my chest where it dug in.

The Heidi is still my absolute best fit imo, I love the shape and it just sits perfectly on me as far as I'm concerned. Except for the stupid gore, which is less padded than any of the other options and thus the most uncomfortable.

For reference, here's front and top-down pics of my current bra vs all of the ones listed here except the Esmae: https://imgur.com/a/MRTaNKK

And my measurements last time I took them were:

Underbust: 94cm/90cm/84cm

Standing/leaning/lying: 111cm/120cm/116cm

As far as I can tell I'm very projected and full on top, I think my roots are maybe on the wider side but I'm not positive.

So..... any further suggestions for an unlined bra in the right size with a low gore??

Question about what my commercial landlord just told me?

Hi all! So, I've signed a lease on a small commercial rental space for a retail shop. The landlord is working on completing the space, because he split one unit into two and I'm getting the unit they're having to outfit from scratch. This location is in a medium-sized, longstanding shopping center with probably 20+ other occupants.

The thing is, the landlord just sent me an email informing me that they're going to install "two 100amp panels" rather than "one 200amp panel with three phase delivery" because it will be less expensive for them. I looked up the difference between 100amp panels and 200 amp panels, but I can't find much information about what the effect of adding a second 100amp panel would be? Does this sound reasonable/acceptable, or do I need to fight with them about this?

Additional relevant details I can think of:

- The space is 1000sqft total

- The lighting is standard overhead panel lights in a drop ceiling

- I will be selling yarn, and don't intend to have any special lighting installed. Maybe some lamps or pendant lights if really needed.

- I plan to have a computer, credit card machine, cash register, and some small appliances like a mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and electric kettle. No large appliances like full-sized fridges, freezers, vending machines, etc.

If there's any other information you need about the situation, I'm happy to provide it! Thank you for reading and for any input you can give me!!

When a color you think you're gonna love looks just okay on you 😔

Nettle and Briar looks soooooo pretty on everyone else with the pastel aqua sort of base color, but I finally got it and found out that the base color looks super washed out and grey on me in 90% of lighting lol 😭 The shimmer is still gorgeous and glowy so it's not a total loss, but I think this one is only gonna make it to the middle of my "to rewear" list. At least I still have other Lurid pretties to try once this mani comes off 🩷

Products:

- Base coat: Glisten & Glow sticky base coat

- Nude coat: Cracked Rooftops in Bologna

- Color coat: Lurid Lacquers Nettle and Briar x3

- Top coat: Glisten & Glow top coat

Help finding a replacement for my beloved Panache Ana Plunges?

Hey all! So, probably 7 or 8 years ago at this point, I used this sub to help me find what at the time was my holy grail bra, the Panache Ana Side Support Plunge. For a long time it was great, but in the last year or two I've gained about 30lbs, and with that I tried sizing up my band and cup in the Ana to get a more comfortable fit. This.... did not work.

My big issue is that I'm a 5'0 (152cm) person with a *very* short sternum. Like, I have maybe 2.5-3 inches of space between my collarbone and the start of my cleavage, and maybe another 3 inches to the bottom of my roots. Because of that, I need a bra with an extremely low gore, and when I sized up in the Ana, the underwire got longer. Any time I bent or slouched, the underwires were stabbing me in the chest.

So I'm hoping that maybe yall can rec me a new bra with an even shorter gore so that I'm not suffering band overextension and quadboob anymore? I'm currently wearing a 34F, but I suspect a 36F or maybe even 36G would probably be a better fit.

My top concern is definitely the height of the gore, but in order of descending priority, I also really prefer an unlined bra (my boobs are Not self-supporting and basically eat molded cups lol), I like the seam construction and side support in the Ana, and I also like that it's lacy and pretty lol. But at this point, I'm willing to sacrifice most of that for a comfortable fit in the right size.

If you can offer any suggestions or advice I really appreciate it, thank you so much!!

Dumb question about startup expenses

(Yes I will talk to a CPA before I actually do anything, I'm just looking for some quick feedback)

Okay somebody check me please, is this idea super shady and I'm just not thinking about it clearly, or would it be okay to do?

I'm working on opening a brick and mortar retail shop. The legal structure of the business is an LLC, and I'm the sole owner. The current step I'm in the process of is getting a business credit card.

However, I have some larger expenses that will be due by the end of the week (paying my lawyer for reviewing my lease and a graphic designer for my logo). I have no problem paying for them, but I would love to put them on a credit card to get reward points for them lol.

This is the part I'm worried might be insanely sketchy of me: would there be anything wrong about paying these expenses with a personal credit card, and then later on once I have the business card and am making a profit with the store, using Paypal to reimburse myself for those startup costs via the business credit card? (I'm currently a bookkeeper, so I would properly expense the line items, I promise.)

The startup funds are all my personal money, so they're a "loan" from me anyway that I would hope to eventually pay back. But is the only proper way to fund the startup costs to make lump sum deposits into my business checking account and disburse the funds from there? Or is it okay to just keep a log of what I pay for on my personal credit card and have the business pay me back for it later?

Anybody else regularly paint the underside of their nails?

I've started doing it lately and I wanna yap about it because I feel like it's actually been really helpful for my nails lol?

I have super thin nails, and granted I've also been using Nailtiques for a month or two (and it has actually helped them be less bendy and pathetic!), but I've also started painting the undersides of my nails completely in the last few weeks and I feel like I've gone from "some chipping and ripping here and there, less than I used to get" to "actually my nails are completely fine and finally growing out for real" lol.

I do the full process on the undersides now: base coat, nude coat (I'm weird and hate seeing my nail line), at least one layer of color, top coat.

I think it's been giving my nails more strength and also protecting them from water better? My manicures used to pretty much always wind up lifting a lot by day 3, if not sooner, because I wash my hands and do dishes without gloves a lot and also have long hair that takes a million years to wash lol. But my last couple of manicures have lasted me like 7+ days with way less chipping and lifting.

Plus honestly just capping my nails always had me picking like crazy at the undersides, which would inevitably chip and generally mess up my polish, but painting the whole underside majorly reduces that urge! I just use acetone + a cleanup brush to get rid of any globby bits or patches I leave on my skin.

What about yall? Anybody else ever paint the whole underside of their nails? Did you find it helpful/hurtful/indifferent?
