Would you replace this original 241803 worm gear?

This is my first kitchen aid and I found it at goodwill for $90

During the process I’m rebuilding my KitchenAid K45SS. I cleaned the original 241803 worm follower gear and don’t see any chipped teeth or cracks.

Would you reuse it, or replace it while I have the mixer apart?

Or would it smart to get a new oem part?

Thanks!

Weight and stomach size stuck.

Male, 26 years old, 5’11”

Current stats:
Weight: \~193 lbs
Waist: 38.25”
Latest DEXA (May 2026): 21.8% body fat
Lean Mass: 141 lbs
Fat Mass: 41 lbs

Background:
I started my fat loss journey on February 5th at around 199 lbs with a 40” waist. Since then I’ve been consistently tracking calories, weighing food, lifting 4x/week, and averaging around 7,000-9,000 steps per day. I also play tennis occasionally.

Recent DEXA results showed:
Body fat dropped from 24.7% to 21.8%
Fat mass dropped by about 6.7 lbs
Lean mass increased slightly
So objectively I have lost fat.
The issue is that my scale weight has been hovering around 191-194 lbs for what feels like forever, and my waist has only gone from 40” to about 38.25”. I expected a much bigger change after 4 months of dieting.

Current intake:
Training days: \~1800 calories
Rest days: \~1700-1800 calories
Protein: 190-200g/day
Carbs are higher on training days and lower on rest days
Most meals are home-cooked and weighed

Current training:
4 lifting days per week
Upper/lower style split
Progressive overload focus
Tennis occasionally
My goal is to reach 17-18% body fat by August.

My questions:
Based on these stats and DEXA results, does my rate of progress seem normal or slower than expected?

Would you continue the cut as-is, reduce calories further, increase activity, or take a maintenance break?

For those who have gone from \~22% body fat down to \~17-18%, when did you start seeing more noticeable changes in waist size and abdominal fat?

Is a 38.25” waist at 193 lbs and \~22% body fat consistent with what you’d expect, or does something seem off?

Looking for honest feedback and not just “trust the process.” If you were coaching me, what would you change?
