Hey, everyone!

We've just released a new survey and we'd like your feedback. If you took the Community Survey back in March, you know exactly what to expect here.

This survey helps us shape the future of D&D based on what matters most to you. It only takes a few minutes, and every response helps us build a better experience for the whole community!

Thanks so much!

Ooze There? The August DDB Drops are Live!

Hey everyone!

August's D&D Beyond Drops are now available! This month, add some JRPG to your D&D with new maps, monsters, and magic items that feel just as at home on your gaming table as they would your gaming console.

For the Dungeon Masters, we've got a new city map for the next time your players leave the world map, as well as three sewer dungeon maps for when they inevitably agree to help the local thieves guild with their next mission, plus a set of stickers to further customize the maps!

A JRPG-style dungeon wouldn't be complete without monsters to grind your levels on, right? We're also introducing three brand-new monsters called Sovereign Oozes, who power up when they combine with each other!

For the players, a new companion feat to Fey Sentinel, a collection of new magic items, and new character sheet backdrops perfect for setting the sewer scene.

Plus, Drops' first errata is here! Thanks to everyone who's given feedback about the content since Drops launched.

u/GrandPyromania gives you the scoop on all the content in today's blog post!

If you're a D&D Beyond subscriber, this content is already available in your libraries, and you can check the Subscriber Content Page to see an updated list of all Drops content.

(CM Note: I don't care if it'll eat me; the Sovereign Vassal is adorable.)
(CM Note 2: Jay says to pretend your favorite JRPG battle music is playing while you read the blog. I've included one of mine here.)

Jimothy's getting a theme song!!

Disclaimer: I work at Wizards of the Coast, which is in Jimothy's backyard, and we're all obsessed with the little guy along with the rest of the world.

In response to our post about him over the weekend, David Arkenstone (5x Grammy-nominated composer of World of Warcraft and Dungeon Masters) wrote him a theme song that'll be released today! Listen to a sample of "Taking on the World (Jimothy's Theme)"!

DDB Forums are back, plus an update

Hey everyone!

Because the subreddit gets an increase in posts when DDB breaks, we felt it necessary to update you more firmly on what's been going on recently with the forums.

We've explained things in this blog post, but the TL;DR is to combat the site instability the forums are causing, we're moving the Play-by-Post section behind the need to log into DDB.

This won't change anything for users who play in this format—you're already logged in, so you won't see anything differently. (You may also need to clear your cache to see the forums in the next little bit.)

DDB Subscribers, Be Not Afraid: The June Drop Has Landed!

Good timezone, everyone!

The Big Monthly Drop (BMD?) for June is now available, featuring a host of angelic antagonists, spells to defend and spells to destroy, plus some useful magic items!

Read our new blog on this week's content, which has already been added to your libraries, and you can check the Subscriber Content page for an updated list of all Drops content.

We also have an update to Drops content appearing in the mobile app: unfortunately, adding DDB Drops to the D&D Beyond app has turned out to be a more complex situation than we expected. We're currently working with the mobile team on a solution, but we don't have an ETA at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience and will keep everyone updated on this issue!

WIZARDS POSTING: Issues w/ Ravenloft: The Horrors Within Pre-Order Access

Good timezone, everyone!

We're seeing an influx of folks who are unable to access their Ravenloft: The Horrors Within content despite pre-ordering. What we have determined is that this is primarily affecting customers who pre-ordered through the UK/EU store who received the wrong license (global release vs. pre-order).

u/WOTC_Randy is actively working on making sure these customers get the appropriate license, and we appreciate your patience as we work through this.

For non-UK/EU players who are still having difficulty accessing your pre-orders, please make sure you've done the following:

  • Sync Your Entitlements! Go to https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/licenses and make sure your entitlements are in sync.
  • Make sure your Master Tier subscription is active! On that same page, you will see whether or not your subscription is active and at what tier. If you're Master Tier, great!
  • If all else fails, take the IT approach. Have you tried logging out and in again? Clearing cache and cookies? Have you taken the time to get a cookie for yourself? You deserve a snack. But also, please submit a Support Ticket. That helps us figure out what's going on and track backend issues.

Thank you all for your reports and patience! We hope to have this resolved soon.
