Hey, so I am not a huge fan of OPRs lust Daemons so I am trying to find something else. I personally like the idea more of faceless perfection rather than the sexy side of things too. Anyone have any good recommendations. Preferably something with multiple different weapon options.
Does the unit ignore the debuff because of the flying rule or would the debuff affect it? My friend and I were debating this while playing.
What legions had genetic flaws that caused critical issues? I know many legions had problems or genetic defects but most don't really seem to cause major problems.
I know the Thousand Sons had their Flesh Change and the Blood Angels had the Red Thirst. The Emperor's Children had the Blight but this seems to have been resolved with the finding of Fulgrim and better gene seed production. Were there other catastrophic flaws?
I've been listening to the Konrad curze primarch book again and it got me thinking. What if curze didn't go completely mad but his world did still return to the rule of the crime families and sent the worst kids for his legion after he left.
Now instead of him returning and exterminatusing the planet, he sends down the newer scum marines to the planet to fully root out the crime families and terrorize the planet back into fear and control. Then he uses the slaughter as an excuse to purge his legion of the dregs and keeps only the sons that were sent from terra and from nostramo prior to them only sending the worst criminals.
Nostramo could almost become a Krieg type planet where the best are sent for the legion and the rest are put into the guard as a sort of penitent force. The planet stays dark and criminally biased and the legion still stays with the terror aspect but they don't fall as far because curze doesn't go full psycho and self destructive.
I understand this also requires curze to understand the concepts of mercy and forgiveness (pun not intended) but it would be an interesting change to the timeline and the legion as a whole.
Do you think if curze changed in this way he remain loyal or would he still go traitor because of the emperor's abandonment of him?
