Anyway, what if John is fully destined to die?

In T3 his wife sends back the T800 who killed him to protect him.

In Genesys he’s fully corrupted and essentially dead.

Karl whacked him in Dark Fate.

Sure it has been discussed before but just dawned on me.

Yesterday was my dad’s birthday so we went to the Cantina and got Baja Blasted in his honor.

That is all.

This is very weird and actually not negative… just a weird experience during a trip. I’m seeking opinions on how weird.

I’m a Californian. I grew up suburban and went to PWIs. I made a deliberate effort to live in a significantly more diverse area once I became a working adult.

I went to Dream Con in Houston this past weekend. It is like ComicCon but focuses more on Black creatives.

During lunch I was talking with a few people. Really just small talk it evolved into background. One individual congratulated me on my accomplishments in spite of being dark skinned. They had this hopeful congradulatory facial expression like they were very proud of me. Their heart was in the right place I think. I just have never had anyone Black mention my complection as a significant obstacle. I’ve heard race mentioned first hand but not complection.

Have you had a similar experience? Am I late to the game or is this something I just likely never noticed before?

I’m sick at home. I’m on an LA Law binge. I watched this as a child and I was really to young to get it.

I knew Brachman was inappropriate.
I knew Becker was inappropriate.
I had no idea Roz was inappropriate!
Almost every main character in the ensemble cast was inappropriate at some level.

I’m shocked! I’m clutching my pearls!

What shows from childhood have you watched as an adult? Did they seem different? How?
