Do sleep schedules work?

I've been having trouble this whole year with my sleep schedule and I always see people set alarms and keep it going 7 days a week. Does that work? I keep waking up 5 days a week with a set alarm time to try and anchor my natural sleep but then I feel like I need a day to wake up whenever. But I wonder if I should force myself to sleep and wake at a same time over summer and give it a try.

Check In On Brothers over the summer

Don't forget to check in on your brothers over the summer as some may go home to small towns where no ones around and it could be isolating, especially those with depression. There maybe some bros who cant afford to do trips etc to be mindful of to reach out too so they feel included in a way by FaceTime etc so they could be part of it. Sometimes we get so busy we forget to reach out, but staying in communication really does help everyone out.

Best Shorts for summer?

Hey guys,

I'm looking for shorts to wear with shirts and polos that are 6 to 5 inch inseam and look clean but not grandpa ones. Thicker fabric would be good vs thin, and normal priced. Kinda like chubbies, lulu, etc etc. Ones that you could wear dressed up but also lowkey casual so to save money so I don't have to buy many shorts.

When I went to wash the 2 year old shorts I had I used the wrong temp and cleaner and they're all shot color wise, lesson learned.

How to establish "tent poles" for sleep patterns

Ive been having sleep issues and have tried to create my own tent poles to help try to establish a sleep pattern.

Ive been only getting 4-5 hours of sleep lately. I set an alarm for wake up daily to use that to base my body clock around. The problem is I cant get myself to go to sleep at the same time every night. Then sometimes I jave one day a week where I go back to sleep after alarm goes off to hit reset.

Im a night person and go to the gym daily. I tried stopping eating at 11ish. Theres sometimes if I sleep past the alarm on the those off days its not much just an extra hour as my body clock holds to around that wake up time.

Theres some nights im in bed and I feel a jerking about to fall asleep feeling it but power through it and end up awake.

I think the solution is forcing myself to accept the times I feel like im about to pass out and do it vs getting up.
