Need to slow things down

I met someone who I like and we’ve had 4 dates. On our 4th date, the physical acts escalated pretty quickly. I like him, but I want to slow things down a bit. How do I do this?

On our 4th date, he kept asking me to go to the bedroom to have intercourse. I told him no sex and that I wanted to go slowly. I do like him and want to see him again and am nervous that I’m going to mess this up. Thank you!

Retinol Questions

I want to start a retinol but one of my concerns is that I wax my eyebrows every 6 weeks. Do I understand correctly that I can’t wax my eyebrows once I start a retinol? How do people handle this? Should I switch to threading? Would that be safe?

Also, best recs for beginner friendly retinols? I'm a 40 year old female and have fairly sensitive and dry skin.

Thanks!

Trying another app

I’m a 40 year old woman. I’m on the apps (Bumble and Hinge) and not getting the matches that I hope for. I live in a major city. On Hinge I barely get any matches and on Bumble I get a decent amount of matches, but they’re often not people I’m interested in dating. I’m looking to try out another app for a bit. Would Match, Tinder, or OkCupid be the best place to start? Thank you in advance for any help!!

Maintenance Dose

I’m currently in maintenance. I’ve lost 75 lbs over the past 2 years and my weight is stable at 122 lbs. I lost most of my weight at 10mg and am now in maintenance at 5mg. I just emailed to get a refill of 5mg and the nurse who is covering for my doctor suggested that I go down to 2.5 mg in order to find the lowest possible maintenance dose. I really don’t want to lower the dose and I really don’t want to gain weight — I worked so very hard to lose this weight. Is 5mg a reasonable maintenance dose? I’m not quite sure how to respond to this nurse — any advice? Thanks!

Indoor Tree Recommendations

I’m searching for an indoor tree for my apartment. I have floor to ceiling windows in my living room and full sun. I had a lemon tree that really struggled (spider mites) and unfortunately I just got rid of it. I’d really like to find another tree for the same location. I’m thinking of an olive tree. I’m open to other ideas. The tree will be potted and indoors at all times. It has to do well in full sun. Thank you for any and all suggestions!
