Listening to the song "I'm the only one" by Melissa Etheridge and my partner said "this has the same drum beat as Roxanne"

I played "Roxanne" by The Police which does not have a similar beat at all and he says "oh that's not the song i was thinking of, but there's a song from that era that maybe has the name Roxanne in it, and i think it has a female singer too"

Now we're trying to find the song he was thinking of:

● 70s ish

● probably a female singer

● may or may not include the name Roxanne

● similar beat to "I'm the only one" by Melissa Etheridge

He frequently had squirrels and other animals on the show so all of those episodes come up when I try to search, but there's one episode in which a squirrel is hiding in his hair and suddenly appears while Bob is painting. Need help finding it please🙏
