So- thanks to help from this sub we have booked a stay at Chileno Bay in early July! We are very excited and I am starting yo look at options for activities while we are there. Excursions through the resort are CRAZY expensive- around $1000 for hiking or biking. We want to explore but unfortunately after the cost of our stay these are mostly out of our price range.

Can anyone recommend good tours or organized hikes, bike tours, our other outdoor things to do while we are there that aren't quite so expensive? Thanks!!

Hello! We have 10-14 days in July and have decided to visit Cabo for the first time. We would like a resort with swimmable beaches and easy access to local cycling and walking tours. One of us is vegetarian.

Any suggestions for a resort to book, tours to book and cycling/hiking tours would be very helpful. Thanks!!

There is a story this week out of Washington about an off duty security guard who shot a 17 year old In a parking lot. The victim was carrying a BB gun. The shooter was convicted of 2nd degree murder for the shooting, and 2nd degree assault for throwing another of the teens to the ground.

There is "special conditions" attached to the crimes that the jury returned because a gun was used in the crime. This (I think) attaches "enhanced sentencing" to the shooters eventual jail time.

Where Im getting underwater is understanding how much time is added and could be expected for the shooter. Media has said additional 10 years. Google says 12-36 months.

Can anyone who understands sentencing guidelines help me out?
