Tried Changa, it made me realize that these kind of experiences aren't for me.
Ever since I've first heard about DMT I've been really curious to try it, and my only other psychedelic experiences were with shrooms, that I enjoyed. I've read many trip reports so I knew I was going to try something really strong, but damn.
Lately a friend of mine told me he had just made some Changa so I bought it along two other friends and smoked it in a bong: I took a deep and slow rip but didn't even smoke half of the bowl, and as soon as I exhaled and layed on a seat I felt everything buzzing and my face felt like it was melting. In a moment my brain started going crazy: colors, fractals, bright lights, and it felt like the whole world was moving super fast while I stayed still . I could see a beautiful garden of Eden with two cherubs, everything made out of green and blue "organic"-shaped fractals, kinda resembling tree branches.
Then I started panicking: time was so dilated and the effect was so strong that I genuinely feared I would be permanently high from DMT and that it would fry my brain, I even imagined my mother crying because of this. I had the urge to start screaming for help but I started praying instead and it immediately helped me, I could feel God's presence and love and it saved me from one hell of a bad trip.
After that it started rapidly mellowing down, I opened up my eyes and looked at the night sky and I could see all kinds of flying lights, and I could see the same fractals in the foliage from the trees.
All of this lasted 5-10 minutes and honestly I was just hoping for it to end. It was a really interesting one-time experience and it convinced me I'm just not made for strong psychedelics.
