SÃO JORGE '95 - Home Video Footage
I took over 10 hours of home video footage my mom & uncle filmed in the summer of 1995 and cut it down into a 45-minute video. My goal was to highlight the traditions, community, and everyday life on the island of São Jorge at that moment in time.

What’s a recent movie that was so good you had to buy the physical media?
I’ve definitely cut back on physical media purchases in the last 5-10 years, however sometimes a movie is so incredible that I have to own it. Quality over quantity.

This view of the east side of Union Square at Fourth Avenue shows the elegant iron fence and lamps surrounding Henry K. Brown’s bronze equestrian figure of Washington, on which his apprentice, J. Q. A. Ward, also worked. The group surrounding the figure forecasts the popularity of Union Square as a favorite gathering place for street orators. At the left is Union Square’s three-acre park. At left background is Everett House at the northeast corner of the park.
