Color scheme and decorating help!

Hi! My partner and I just finalized our first apartment together. We are renting and the unit was just painted and new floors put in so adjusting that isn’t an option. Unfortunately it’s a bit of a “landlord tan” paint, we also have the sea foam accent wall/kitchen. Cool toned lighter wood floors and dark doors. Im trying to figure out a color scheme for furniture/rugs, etc. I prefer warmth in my space but I don’t want to make the walls look too yellow or contrast too terribly with the blue wall. I love mid century modern vibe and have a very eclectic style. I’m leaning towards olives, gold, rust, dusty pink, plum. Honestly just my favorite colors but not sure if that will work haha. Definitely not a minimalist but I still want things to feel “clean”. We have a velvet yellow/gold couch so I’m a bit afraid it may clash or even blend in with the weird paint color. Not sure if a new couch is an option right now but we will see. What could I do to tie in the couch with the wall colors and what other color combinations should I go with for a chair, rug, art, side table/ tv stand. Sorry this is a lot but I need an extra eye! Thank you everyone :)

Application and signing lease

Hi there! I have been talking with an agent at an apartment complex in a new state that I’ll be moving to. My application was approved and the unit was taken off the market. The agent texted me on Tuesday saying congratulations and that he would send me an email that evening with next steps. It is now Friday and tomorrow is a holiday. Should I follow up tonight or wait until Monday? This is my first apartment on my own so I’m a little nervous. I don’t want to be annoying or push it too much but I also want him to know I am eager to move forward. Im not sure what the proper thing is to do in this situation haha. Any advice would be great thank you!

This snake plant was pulled out of the pot by my niece and I’m wondering if I can propagate it or if I need to cut off the bottom part. Thanks!
