27 Panamera 4S EH - Sport Design Package - Matte or Gloss Black?

Getting the Sport Design Package on a brand new 4S E-Hybrid, specifically to minimize the amount of plastic on the bottom read bumper.

I typically prefer matte trims but I'm not sure it'll look great on a PTS Dark Blue Metallic - thinking shine on shine might be nicer. The rest of the car trim and badging is in high gloss black (wheels are 911 Turbo).

What do you guys think?

Tux Shawl Lapel - Seam Or No Seam?

I'm getting a MTM tux with a tailor I've worked with before. They've made me a tux previously.

I've sprung for the Zegna Trofeo fabric so I'm looking to make sure this tux is in tip top shape.

I want a shawl lapel and the tux they previously made for me has a seam at the base of my neck where the two sides of the lapel meet. I asked if they could do it with out, after talking to their team they said they could but now I'm doubting which way to go / if it'll look weird, especially given what my online search has shown: most shawl lapels have a seam.

So what do I do? Go WITH or WITHOUT the seam?

'27 4S E-Hybrid Exterior Color

Speccing a brand new Panamera 4S E-Hybrid.

I'm going for a blacked out look (badges, tail lights, headlights, interior w/ some deviated stitching, calipers). Going with 911 Turbo Wheels over the 21' exclusive design wheels.

Really struggling with PTS options (pending allocation). I'm thinking of staying on metallics since I'm not a fan of flatter paints in general and it's slightly better for upkeep. I'm typically conservative with my colors and tend to lean grey. While the greys on the panamera are nice, I'd like the color to pop more, especially if doing PTS (would be a pity to pay for a grey/black variant).

Options currently are:

- Moonlight Blue Metallic

- Dark Blue Metallic

- Porsche Racing Green Metallic

-----

- Jet Green Metallic

- Amethyst Metallic

Any advice?

2 months. New suits + workwear. NYC

NYC-based.

Looking for a new tailor, old one was Bangkok-based. Fabrics were OK but ready to level up. Ideal budget per suit is ~$4K but I can stretch up. I want bespoke.

I'm trying to solve 2 things:

  1. I have 2 weddings starting end of August. I want at least 1 tux + 2 summer suits for that trip
  2. I need some new high-quality basics. Think navy, black, etc. This I can address in September

Proper Cloth feels like a great option. I love their styling, I've heard great things from friends. I know there are many higher-end tailors around the city. I'm trying to be efficient and focus on the options that will provide the best suit with relative speed/ease and higher-end materials. I'm not looking to smoke a cigar in an armchair, I just want a great suit.

Who isn't on my roster? Is PC going to be a disappointment? Which tailors provide the nicest fitting suits?

Thanks!

I’ve looked at most hotels in Tokyo and landed between these two. FS, Bulgari, Aman, Janu, Otaku, Park Hyatt, Fufu Ginza are all out for various reasons. I’m already doing Hoshinoya during another part of my trip.

I have a corner suite at the palace hotel

and a corner room at the peninsula.

Thoughts?
