17.6 to 18.7.8?

i’m noticing some apps are no longer compatible with my phone and i’m concerned about security. but i’m also concerned about the photos app being worse, the keyboard being worse and apps being laggier overall.

i got a new battery last year. basically i’m just concerned that i’m going to regret updating. any advice or personal experiences are appreciated.

I typed “would wear” and my phone changed it to “round west”.

zero context for that. Thanks for literally never addressing the completely fucked up keyboard and forcing me to continuously have to fix your errors when i originally typed something that was spelled correctly and made grammatical sense.

FIX. THE. KEYBOARD. PLEASE.

Can no longer find books. Home is just a bunch of data folders

i’ve got a jailbroken kindle that i installed koreader on I’m not sure what happened, but i do have a folder with books i downloaded and moved into it. i recall it having a nice User interface for viewing and opening books and other files. I had a book open and left it for about a week. Now i’m trying to navigate back to the list of books and i just can’t. I tap the Book Library tab and it brings me to a random ” dictionaries “ folder. When i tap on the home button, i’m just seeing the list of data folders like apps, documents, extensions, fonts etc. the only way i can get back to the book i had open is to tap the hamburger menu and tap Open Previous Document and it will take me to the book. so it’s still on the device somewhere, it’s just not listed anywhere i can find it.

i was using koreader without issue to read many books for the past few weeks, and this has thrown me for a loop. i don’t remember it looking like this. can anyone help me navigate back to my books folder?

edit: also, if I tap the hamburger menu and hit history, I can see the book listed there, Which I can tap on and open it up again. If I long tap on it, it gives me the option to show folder and when I hit that, it takes me to a different folder where the book is not saved. It’s taking me to a dictionary folder. I am so confused. I seem to remember that while I was in a book I could tap on the top of the screen and hit something that would take me back to my list of books and now , I am not seeing that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Breast tenderness after a reduction on 2.5 mg daily of fin. Concerned about breasts growing back.

I had a breast reduction in 2024 and do not want to risk my breasts growing larger. My doctor said that taking 2.5 mg daily of fin shouldn't effect my breasts growing because it's such a small dose, and that I would need to stay on it for at least 6 months to find out if it's even working as far as hair shedding goes. I've been taking the fin every day for about a month and haven't noticed any different at all in my hair shedding, but my breasts are sore and tender every single day. I'm getting really concerned that they might start growing larger again.

Does breast tenderness mean that breasts are getting larger? Or could it just be that they are tender? Does the tenderness eventually go away? I'm just really not sure if I should stop taking it.

Thanks all.

Question about Zonli 4” mattress

I received my 4in Zonli futon/mattress this morning, and i just finished unpacking it. i know there’s going to be a period where it needs to inflate, but i’m a little concerned because on one side there seems to be no padding at all. like it’s totally flat compared to the other side which seems to have padding the whole way through. i’m just wondering if it needs more time to air out and inflate or if this is a QC issue and i’m going to need to send it back.

thanks!!

Large dead turtle in the road on 17th near George Anderson

For the love of God can y’all watch where you’re driving? This was a big turtle, no reason why you couldn’t have seen it from a long ways off. Anyone running down vulnerable creatures stuck in the road is a straight up psychopath.
Heartbreaking. The wildlife was here first, show respect and compassion during the spring please. They’re just hungry or looking for shelter too.

I work in North carolina but my employer is based in another state. I’m wondering if there’s any way to protect myself from them uploading my photo or info to AI. they started doing this to other people in other departments and they were not asked their consent beforehand. I emailed my supervisor and told them i’m not comfortable with this and don’t consent to it, but how do i ensure i have recourse in case they decide to do so without my consent?

any direction or advice is appreciated, thanks.
