Autistic Struggle

I work nights, on temporary, covering the health and beauty Aisles. I struggle with it, and the delivery cages severely overwhelm me, so my manager had someone drop everything for me. I’m not very fast at it but I genuinely am doing my best.

Last week, I was told that they are taking away the person who is dropping it for me. Is there anyway that makes the delivery cages less overwhelming/easier? He told me if I don’t speed up, I’ll be getting fired, and it seems counterproductive to suddenly stop my accommodation of someone dropping it for me. I have mentioned many times I am disabled and have autism. Please help.

Book suggestions for Audiobook

Hello! I am a 19 year old who works overnights. I recently started listening to audiobooks whilst I work to make the time pass faster. I’m looking for suggestions! I use spotify for the audiobooks btw!

I like LGBTQ, Romance, Thriller, Horrors, Mystery, or pretty much anything!

Thank you in advance :D

Taken time off for a family emergency

I was meant to be working 5 nights in a row. Today, I had to call out due to my 17 year old brother, who suffers from depression, having a panic attack whilst home alone after breaking up with his partner. I know I’m meant to call 2 hours before, but obviously this couldn’t be predicted. I called an hour and a half before.

My stepmum says I will get fired as I had only started working 2 weeks ago. This is terrifying me. My dad agreed too.

Yesterday, I also had to have a meeting with my manager as some people had made comments about my gender identity, and the person on the phone asked if this was related in which I told him no, its not. I only said family emergency. I didnt give details.

I genuinely thought my brother was going to do something stupid. He is okay now. My dad is home.

Am i going to get fired?

Employee Number and Induction

I have recently received an email about signing up to MyTesco. My induction is on Monday. It is for an overnight job. Will it be 9 am or 9 pm? I’ve emailed but not received a response yet.

Also, i have just received my Employee Number, and am trying to set up my Tesco account, but it says its Invalid. Will there be some time before it is added to the system?

Advice - I personify everything.

I (19m) have a severe issue with giving everything a personality and feeling bad for it. It gets to the point where its starting to make my life harder and harder.

Sorry for the weird example next, but its the most recent.
I have a favourite pair of boxers. I couldn’t find them so I picked up a different pair. However, on my way to shower, i found my favourite ones, so I put the other pair back. Now however, I feel incredibly guilty and sad for the other pair.

Its stupid, I know.

At 11 years old, my older brother found an old minion plushie left on the path, and him and his friend kicked it into a busy main road. I felt bad for it and imagined it was so scared, so I risked my life to go get it and hide it under a bush from the rain. I risked my life for a plushie. I cried over it.

It gets to a point when it’s affecting what I’m eating and when too, as I personify the food.

Is this normal? Am i strange? Is it something to be concerned about?

Need motivation

I have a 2000 word essay due Thursday at 9pm.

I have only done 388 words so far.

I am on antidepressants and anti anxiety medication, which i forgot to take for 4 days.

I have ZERO clue what I am doing.

I just need motivation that I’m not absolutely fucked and am gonna be able to do this. I asked the group chat and someone just said ‘yeah ur cooked’ so I am genuinely hitting a low point here. I also find out whether I am autistic or not tomorrow so I’m fucking shitting it hardcore, Please tell me I am not cooked and I have this I’ve never felt like this before

Edit: this is with a two week extension. I think im just destined to fuck this up atp
