Please support and visit your local library. They need us just as much if not more than we need them.

Hennepin county has now submitted next years change of hours to accompany budgets. All the libraries are getting cut hours and some are closing more days than this year. This affects our communities in several negative ways. It affects the lower income communities the hardest.

It's free to visit the library. Every visit counts for something. The more this vital resource is used the more important it becomes. We all have realized the amount of "third spaces" are quickly disappearing. The library is still one of the places that you can visit that doesn't bleed you of money.

It's a great communal space to gather and meet others. There are spaces for children to learn and explore. There are resources and computers for those who could not access on their own. There is access to a wide wide wealth of knowledge. They have great social gatherings where you can also learn a thing or two.

I'm afraid this cycle will only continue. The less people utilize the service, the more they have to cut back, and the cycle will continue until the libraries start closing. I'm afraid for the future of the library.

Check out your local library. You may be surprised to learn how useful and special they are.

There is also a link on the hennepin county library website to submit comments to the commissioner about the changes in hours. I hope you will share your thoughts with them if you can about the effects reduced access to the library can and will effect your community.

Is there a reason febu isn't on Amazon anymore?

I just ran out and am trying to order more and I can't find it anywhere?!?! Is it just me? If it is actually gone what's another alternative that doesn't have optical brighteners?

New epson xp-4205 expression home printer is not working at all. PLEASE HELP. I need things printed for a court case.

I got a new printer. I went through all the setup and updates just fine for the new printer. I have now tried to print on my phone and the computer inset it up on and it will not print anything. It says the printer is not available. I tried turning it off and on. I've reset my WiFi router. I did a check network connection print page and everything passed. The only thing it said was "network is working correctly. The same SSID may be set on several wireless routers. Check the settings on the wireless router (I have Verizon business and have no idea how to) and change the SSID. the WiFi environment needs to be improved. (Then tells me to turn off and on both printer and router which have been done) Then says if your problems persist, see your documentation for help and networking tips." I also was unable to do a firmware update. The error message for that said "cannot connect to the Internet. There is a problem with the WiFi Internet connection or cannot access the server." Idk what to do.

RCS not available on a replacement fold 7 when it worked before

My samsung fold 7 through Verizon business in the UNited States was stolen. I was sent a new one through insurance. It's still a galaxy fold 7. The Google messages app, I cannot find the version number only the last time it was updated which was may 22th. I went to Verizon and got it set up through my business account. Everything is working as it should except RCS chats under Google message settings now says unavailable. I know for a fact it was available with the last phone I had. I have no idea how to fix it. It's making it so I am not able to send or recieve photos or videos except in quality that I would compare to the 90's.

Is there anyone I can talk to to fix it? Any troubleshooting steps?

PSA- it comes up status code 4001 Last attempt may 27th 12:21am

In the eye of the storm: Chasers is a great example so far of how some chasers are dangerous to others.

Ive watched several livestreams lately with the same thought as most others about how its been very dangerous between all the storm chasers. We have seen so many close calls and thankfully only vehicles have been damaged in the past couple years... but it seems like the thrill is making it more dangerous all the time. this documentary showcasing how the Gary, SD led to a car crash. not to mention showing how so many cars are sometimes barely pulled over enough just highlights how dangerous it is to have SOOOO many people out on the road trying to get the best footage/pictures. As much as I love weather and storms, I don't think I would be able to do this. It terrifies how many close calls some of these people have.
