INTRO :

Planning to install an 1.5 ton inverter AC on a 100 sq. ft. rental room, where 1 ton is enough, just to future proof esp., for relocation.

Being oversized units, LG has "manual convertible modes" to cap the AC limit, but daikin works on "auto mode" only. Still daikin is said to be the most reliable system though.

~30% is the lowest cooling capacity of both lg and daikin.

QUESTION :

To undersize 1.5 ton as 1 ton, do LG has an upper hand, or Daikin auto mode will work well?

Or some other brand will be good?
