My friend's hamster is loosing hair, his skin looks healthy. Can hamster get allopecia? What could cause this?
He has proper care and good diet. No change in anything recently. Is anyone familliar with this issue?

To be clear, i do 2 water changes a week to keep the parameters good. They have 3 filters, 1 canister and 2 sponges in rue 40g tank! I try my best to keep up with the changes but with my uncured arthritis its hard😅 still just to show how much a water change can do to a fish tank! Went from 80ppm to 40ppm!
I just set up my new 10 gallon fish tank and i want to do fish in cycle(not new to fish keeping, i have 10 other tanks) but im running out if ideas for the stocking! Ik i want to do some chilli rasboras but i also want a center piece fish than is not a betta as the flow is really heavy on the tank! I was thinking a pair of black tiger scarlet badis cuz i saw some last week at the store but i have no idea if they still have some soo yh!

I went to the pet store to get some plants and i saw the baby oscars were still there but infected with ich. Lethargic and all, i have delt with ich before on my bettas and stuff so il how to treat it but the thing is after he out the hospital tank, i only have my 27g thst he could go into. Now i have a bullhead who's gonna need a pond and i want the vevor 270g pond so the 27g would be temporary for the oscar as well. They are like tic tac box size rn and i've been wanting one for so long and now thag i might have the possibility to save one would make me so happy. Would my 27g be suitable as a temporary tank? Its got a baby pleco, a baby bullhead, a siamese algea eater, rasboras and a corys. Well planted and well filtered!

So this is Kaÿko and Zircon , i've had them since summer 2025, not old per say. And they had been doing fantastic in their tanks but not long ago he's been acting off, he's usually active and his fins are usually always sprawled and not clamped like they are rn. And i've noticed today that Kaÿko's not using one of his tiny flipper fins that they always use, odd. They are also loosing weight as well, the amano shrimps in Kaÿko's tank are doing amazing tho, parameters are crisp and nothing changed from their diets recently or anything like that. The plants are doing really great too. I have no idea what it could be, all 4 of my other bettas are doing amazing. What could it be? They stay at the surface a lot too, i gave them a salt bath today too. Kanaplex or any thing seachem that is like kanaplex is super expensive here but if i need it for both the bettas then imma get it!

They are all fed the same, he's not older or anything, he was my most active betta. Now he's lethargic, his fins are clamped and he's loosing weight. Whats going on? I tried feeding him more but it wont change anything. They are in a salt bath rn, that not their tanks.

I think my betta has the nex parasite cuz alk fhe signs makes sense and i was recomended the metroplex but its like 44$ and that real expensive for such tiny ammount! So do yall have any alternatives to that to help him out? Srry for the bad pics, he was not cooperating haha

My canister broke and i cant afford a new one. Can i switch them to sponges? I would let the sponges soak in the filter water and stuff. Would it be fine?
Hey, im lowkey panicking cuz my axie's canister fluval 207 filter is not starting again. I have high nitrates in the tank and i use a npad that helps absorb said nitrates. So every month i have to change it before it gets too full and rejects all rhe nitrates it absorbed. The filter didn't mind that and would always start again like usual, no issues. Until today, its making noise, filled up, after many attemps at replugging it and such it filled up but its not making the water circulate like usual. I need yall's help, i cannot afford an other filter and i dont want the cycle to crash. Nothing is blocking it in the tubes or anywhere. Is it the turbine thingy? Please help a girl out😭
