LDS Are Not Aaronic Priests...No One Is!

Are Mormon males called by God as Levitical priests just like Aaron was? Mormonism claims that it's male members are Aaron/Levitical priests. How does this claim hold up?

1. Qualifications for the Aaronic Priesthood:

A. Limited to Aaron and his sons only Ex 28:1, 29:9, 29:44, Num 18:1-7, Lev 6:19-23, Ex 28:43, Neh 7:61-65

B. The Levites helped, Num 3:5-6, 9-10, Heb 7:5

C. Punishment for non-Levites who tried to become priests were severe, I Kings 13:33-34.

D. But Joseph Smith, of English stock, was not a Jew, a Levite, or a son of Aaron! In complete violation for claiming it!!!

E. The Aaronic priesthood was hereditary, but not so in the LDS church. Which is another violation!

F. Physical qualifications. Lev 21:16-23. LDS ignore these qualifications today. Joseph Smith had a leg operation when he was young, in which part of the bone was removed. He was, therefore, physically disqualified to be a priest (Lucy Mack Smith: Biographical Sketches of Joseph Smith and His Progenitors for Many Generations Liverpool: 1853, p. 65)

G. Other qualifications which LDS ignore, Lev 21:1-15: Num 4:35

2. How Were the Aaronic Priests Ordained in the Bible?

Exodus 29; Lev. 8

A. Were washed with water v. 4

B. Were dressed in the priestly robes v. 5-6 (These robes were for “glory and beauty” Ex 28:2, but the holy garments of the LDS are neither glorious nor beautiful.)

C. Were anointed with oil v.7

D. Laid hands on the head of a bullock v. 10

E. The bullock was killed, and its blood was poured out at the altar, while the fat and the kidneys were placed on the altar, and the rest was burned outside the camp, as a sin- offering v. 11-14

F. Laid hands on the head of a ram V.I 5

G. The ram was killed, its blood was sprinkled about the altar, and the body was offered as a burnt offering on the altar v. 16-18

H. Laid hands on the head of another ram v. 19

I. This second ram was killed, and some of the blood was put on the tip of the right ear, right thumb, and right great toe of Aaron and his sons, while the rest of the blood was sprinkled upon the altar v. 20

J. Some of the blood on the altar and some anointing oil was then sprinkled on the priests and their garments v. 21

K. Were given parts of the ram and three kinds of bread, and these were waved as a wave offering, then they were burnt on the altar v. 22-25

L. The breast of the ram was given to the one who ordained them v. 26

M. The shoulder was given to them v. 27

N. They were to eat of the ram and the bread, but no one else was allowed to do so-v. 30-33

O. For the next seven days, one bullock and two lambs were offered daily v. 35-44

3. How Do LDS Ordain to the Aaronic Priesthood?

A. They lay hands on the priests being ordained and speak the words that are specified by the LDS church to confer the priesthood. Nowhere in the Bible account do we find hands laid on the priests. Hands were laid only on the bullock and the rams! The LDS ignore completely the Biblical method of ordaining Aaronic priests!!!

It will not do to say these ordinances do not apply today, if the Aaronic priesthood exists today, the method for ordaining priests into that priesthood apply today! LDS often apply Hebrews 5:4, “. . .as was Aaron,” to refer to the ceremony by which one is ordained to the priesthood, but they do not follow that ceremony in any way!

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY?

There Is No Biblical Authority for the Aaronic Priesthood Today. The Aaronic priesthood was part of the religious system under the Law of Moses. This law and its ordinances came to an end when Christ died on the cross Gal. 3:19, 23-25, Col. 2:14-17, Heb. 10:1-10. Christ’s will or testament came into effect after his death Heb. 9:15-17. There was a change in the priesthood, the Aaronic (Levitical) priesthood was taken away, Heb. 7: 1 1-12.

Even Christ could not be a priest of Aaron because he was of the wrong tribe Heb. 7:13-14. How can non-Jewish LDS qualify if Christ could not qualify? There is no example of Aaronic priests in the church anywhere in the New Testament, amazing if such priesthood existed in the church. Rather, the New Testament teaches the universal priesthood of all believers I Peter 2:5, 9

The Question Where Was God...Answered!

Where was God before the universe was created? People always ask how God could exist “before” space, time, matter, or energy. They imagine a physical being floating in a physical void, waiting for the universe to start. But that whole picture collapses the moment you understand what modern cosmology actually says. Space didn’t exist. Time didn’t exist. Matter didn’t exist. Physical laws didn’t exist. The universe wasn’t sitting in a room waiting to be switched on. There was no room. No switch. No “before.” The beginning of the universe is the beginning of physical reality itself.

This is where people get stuck. They assume that if physical reality didn’t exist, then nothing existed. But “nothing physical” is not the same as “nothing at all.” A timeless, spaceless, non‑material cause is not only possible, it’s the only kind of cause that could logically produce spacetime. If the cause were physical, it would already be inside the system it’s supposed to create, which is impossible. The cause of the universe cannot depend on the universe to exist. That’s basic logic, not theology.

Science backs this up more than people realize. The Big Bang isn’t an explosion inside space. It’s the origin of space. Time doesn’t stretch backward infinitely. It begins at the moment the universe begins. Every physical thing we can measure, matter, energy, fields, geometry, laws, has a starting point. And once you accept that, you’re forced into a non‑physical cause. Physics cannot create itself. Laws cannot generate themselves. Matter cannot appear without a cause. Actual “nothing” has no potential, no structure, no mechanism. It cannot produce anything. So the universe coming from “nothing” is scientifically impossible.

This is where the God question becomes unavoidable. A timeless, spaceless, immaterial cause is exactly what classical theism has always described. God wouldn’t exist inside time. God wouldn’t exist inside space. God wouldn’t be made of matter. God would exist without the universe, not before it. Time words don’t apply to a timeless being. Location words don’t apply to a spaceless being. Physical limitations don’t apply to a non‑physical cause. The universe didn’t create God. God created the universe, and the universe brought time along with it.

So when people ask “Where was God before the universe?” the answer is simple. God wasn’t anywhere, because “where” didn’t exist yet. God wasn’t waiting, because “before” didn’t exist yet. God existed in a mode of being that isn’t bound by the physical rules that came into existence later. And that’s not a religious loophole, that’s exactly what modern cosmology demands. A timeless, spaceless, non‑material cause for a universe that had a beginning.

Are Demons Real? My Experience First Hand.

This post is my personal testimony that up until now, I've kept to myself. Only ones who know besides me, cause they lived it with me, are my parents, ex-wife and a few friends who are no longer in my life and far away. It began with a Ouija board session on my Grandmothers back porch late one night, her and my Grandfather were gone on vacation. We were sitting at the table on the back patio just in front of the living room window.

After we had been doing it a while, my friend jumped up, yelled, the look of panic was intense, he shouted and pointed to the window. I looked real quick and saw the blinds completely pulled apart and being held opened!!! As a person would do trying to look outside. Thing is, no one was home, they were on vacation. House locked, I had the only spare key on me.

I saw a wicked face that is something you cannot describe, everyone at the table outside was staring at it, we all saw it. Everyone ran from the table and just as I was about to do the same, I saw the face pull back quick and the blinds immediately went back together. I grabbed my spare key and went into the house. As I suspected, no one. The house felt different, which is something only Christians can pick up on, you can feel the evil. It was very uncomfortable, I left.

Here is where it gets really wild. My Grandmother has always been close to God, Spirit filled and has warnings of things that naturally, no way she could know. She came home early, like really early, by 2 weeks. I asked her why she was back so soon and what she told me made my hair stand on end.

She told me that one night, she suddenly got a really bad feeling something very bad was happening at home, something evil. The feeling was so intense she begged my Grandfather to cut the trip short, she wanted to come home. I asked her if she remembered what night that was when she had that feeling. She did, it was the exact night, right down to the time, that me and my friends were outside her home messing with the Ouija board!!!

She said when she stepped into her house it felt off, wrong, very wicked. She felt like she was being watched everywhere she went. She said the toilet in her bathroom had pitch black water in it. After this, she had all kinds of experiences of things clawing her carpet while trying to watch TV and said voices kept waking her up in the morning. At this time, I was watching Ghost Hunters on TV and was fascinated with what they called EVP's and wanted to try something.

One morning very early, I took a micro cassette recorder with a fresh bought tape to her house, she lived next door to us, so this was a short walk. I quietly went into room, put the tape into the recorder and pressed record. It was a short 30min tape, so I decided to sit down in her room next to the bed on the floor, as to make sure of zero contamination, that is, other noises being mistaken for something supernatural. Also, we lived in the middle of nowhere, so there was no traffic or people, or kids running around outside.

The entire 30min was dead silence, you could hear a pin drop. The tape finally clicked off as it reached the end and I grabbed it and left. I later played it back and what I heard was chilling. Clear as day, loud as if kissing the mic, a male voice said ''how the hell are YOU this morning''! And then 2 loud bangs directly next to the recorder, extremely loud...BOOM! BOOM!

There was no noise, none, I was sitting on the floor in her room the entire time it was recording. And the tape was new, I had to open the package to get it, I had just bought it. Something didn't like me there investigating I guess and followed me back to my place, where I lived with my parents. From then on, I had all kinds of things breaking lose in my room at night, and not only at night, but it went on all day too, never left me alone. But night was the worst.

My bed would violently shake, waking me up. Things would slither around inside my mattress, pushing up from the inside as if someone was trapped in it! Pushing up into my back, mattress moving all over hell, it was a feeling I cannot even put into words. Knocking on the wall too, just above my head, loud and hard. Clawing as well. This is where I had no one to turn to because you see, my dad was an atheist. If I dare say anything to him, he mocks it and comes up with all kinds of wild excuses, as they usually do.

However, it eventually started messing with my dad too! One night, he stormed into my room, starting yelling ''alright son, enough of the crap, what did you just drop in the living room''? Me half asleep, told him he just woke me up, I was sleeping and was not in the living room. I tried to tell him what was going on and he just yelled back ''I don't wanna hear about your stupid demon sh**, you blaming everything on make believe characters needs to stop, son''!

I got out of the bed and yelled back that he needs to be more supportive, that not everyone shares his worldview and that what he believes has no bearing on what is. He screamed back that if these things were real and so tough, why don't they mess with him, then he started shouting dares into the air, that if they were real, to come get some. He called them names etc. Just then something pounded on my bedroom door, which my dad was standing right next to. Yeah...that got his attention.

He shouted ''WTF''! And then something neither of us could see, hit him and shoved him out into the hall and up against the wall. This was the night that made my dad a Christian, and still to this day. Anyway, my mom heard about this damn fast. We decided to get help from a local Catholic church. Long story short, or at least shorter...the activity finally slowly came to an end over a period of months. With the help of the Catholic church and Father Bud, who was in his 90's at the time.

There is so much more I'm leaving out, but this post would then be a novel. I wanted to share my experience with other Christians and maybe get some feedback on what you think. Or maybe you can share an experience you had yourself. God bless.

Question For Christians...How Old Is The Universe?

This post is for Christians. I would like the view points of Christians on if they believe in a young creation or old. Myself, I believe young. Bible says God created in 6 days, so that's literally how long it took. About 6,000 years ago. I would give all the reasons why I accept this, also from science as well, but the info is massive and would make this post too big. Doesn't matter if you lean towards billions of years or 6,000, this post is not to argue. It's fine either way. I've been curious for all my life how Christians feel about young vs old. Please let me know what your take is and why.

Take The LDS Salvation Test, Are You Saved?

Take the sin test below. Answer each question to find out if you're saved, according to LDS scripture. If honest, you'll see that salvation in Mormonism is impossible!!!

  1. 1 Nephi 3:7: “For I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.”

Does this passage say that it’s possible to keep all of God’s commandments? Yes! How are you doing at this? Do you still have sin?

A: Yes

B: No

_______________________________________

  1. Alma 11:37: “And I say unto you again that he [God] cannot save them in their sins, for I cannot deny his word, and he hath said that no unclean thing can inherit the kingdom of heaven, therefore, how can ye be saved, except ye inherit the kingdom of heaven? Therefore, ye cannot be saved in your sins.”

''IN'' your sins simply means, having sin, any, even one. He cannot save you ''IN'' your sins. So...have you become sinless yet?

A: Yes

B: No

_______________________________________

  1. Moroni 10:32: “Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you.”

Salvation hangs on two words, ''IF''''THEN''. Ungodliness is sin. So IF, you deny ALL sin. THEN, his grace is sufficient for you. Not until. Do you still sin?

A: Yes

B: No

_______________________________________

  1. D&C 25:15: “Keep my commandments continually, and a crown of righteousness thou shalt receive. And except thou do this, where I am you cannot come.”

How many commandments does it say you must you keep continually? Some? Most? All? It says ALL! How are you doing at this? Do you still sin?

A: Yes

B: No

_______________________________________

  1. D&C 58:43: “By this ye may know if a man repenteth of his sins, behold, he will confess them and forsake them.”

How many sins must you forsake? ALL! Have you forsaken all of your sins? Are you now without sin?

A: Yes

B: No

_______________________________________

  1. D&C 1:31: “For I the Lord cannot look upon sin with the least degree of allowance.”

In light of this verse, God will not allow any sin, period. He will not allow it. If you answered ''A'' to even one question above. You are a lost sinner and not saved, God cannot allow this!!!

Smith is your God Mormons. And if you don't like it? Smith said... LUMP IT!!!

God Has Flesh & Bones?

Jesus was very clear on the nature of God when he said in John 4:24 ''God is spirit, and it is necessary to worship God in spirit and truth.'' No Christian denomination in history has ever taught God the Father has a physical body. This is unbiblical and heretical. And every non-LDS scholar teaches Gods nature is spirit, and that Jesus was very clear about this.

Barnes' Notes on the Whole Bible:

God is A spirit — This is the second reason why men should worship him in spirit and in truth. By this is meant that God is without a body; that he is not material or composed of parts;

Can Man Hold the Melchizedek Priesthood Today?

Some faiths, like LDS, Catholicism, believe men can be Melchizedek priests today. However, this is false. Let's discuss why. Human priests died in the OT, and they had nothing to offer which truly broke sins curse. Jesus though, holds his Melchizedek by power of endless life Heb 7:16. Men died, so the high priest had to pass it on to his successor after his death. Jesus never will. Jesus also had a better sacrifice which truly broke sins curse, his own blood.

So he's qualified, has endless life and a better sacrifice. LDS, Catholics have nothing to offer and are mortals who die. They are NOT qualified to be high priest. Heb 7:24 states,

Heb 7:24  ''But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an ''unchangeable'' priesthood''.

''Unchangeable'' in the Greek here is...

παράβατος

aparabatos

ap-ar-ab'-at-os

From G1 (as a negative particle) and a derivative of G3845; not passing away, that is, untransferable

''UNTRANSFERABLE''...cannot pass from one to another! Mormons, Catholics nor anyone else can have it because the high priesthood could only pass to another when the current high priest DIED. Jesus is still alive, that's why it's rendered ''untransferable'' in the Greek text.

You see, the whole POINT of the high priesthood was to have a mediator between man and God. But it was always a temporary office which was only in effect till Jesus came. Then, the office of mediator, aka high priest, was transferred from men...to Jesus.

This is why there is no need for any man on earth to fill this office, because Jesus is now our mediator, not man. Jesus offered a sacrifice that NO MAN could offer. One that truly wiped our slate clean in Gods eyes. No high priest could ever truly satisfy God, it was temporary until Jesus. No LDS, no Catholic nor anyone else can hold the Melchizedek today because the office of high priest, mediator, is now held by Jesus Christ!!!

1 Tim 2:5, ''There is only one God, and 'ONE' mediator (HIGH PRIEST) between man and God, the man Christ Jesus''.

This is not an attack or hate against any faith. This is just a simple biblically sound fact that today many don't know.

The DOUBLE STANDARD of Atheists

Atheists who argue for a purely naturalistic origin often say that non‑living matter, given enough time, can organize itself into complex systems, stars, planets, galaxies, even life. But when you apply that same logic to something familiar, like a house, they immediately reject the idea of a house building itself, as absurd. Yet the structure of the claim is identical.

  1. Both claims involve non‑living matter organizing itself. A house is made of non‑living materials. The early universe is made of non‑living materials. If “lifeless matter can assemble itself into complex structures over time,” then a house is simply a smaller, simpler version of the same claim.

A house has:

-Geometry

-Structure

-Interlocking components

But the universe has:

-Fine‑tuned constants

-Stable orbital mechanics

-Self‑regulating physical laws

-Complex chemistry

-Biological systems

The universe is orders of magnitude more complex than a house! So rejecting the house while accepting the universe is not a scientific distinction, it’s a psychological one. And a MASSIVE DOUBLE STANDARD!

  1. The “house example” exposes the hidden assumption. When someone laughs at the idea of a house building itself, they’re revealing an assumption they don’t want to admit. Complex, ordered systems require an external organizing cause. They agree with this when the system is familiar (a house). They disagree only when the system is the universe. But the logic doesn’t change.

If complexity requires a builder, then the universe, which is far more complex, should require one even more. If complexity doesn’t require a builder, then houses should be able to build themselves too.

You can’t have it both ways!

Atheism requires BLIND FAITH: Things Cannot Create THEMSELVES!

One of the most overlooked problems in naturalistic origin theories is the idea of self‑creation, the notion that something brought itself into existence before it existed. This isn’t a theological argument, it’s a logical and scientific one.

In science, every event requires:

-A cause

-A mechanism

-A set of conditions already in place

But self‑creation violates all three. To say “X caused itself” is to say X acted before X existed. That’s not just unlikely, it’s a logical contradiction. It’s like saying

-“Before I was conceived, I helped bring about my own conception.”

-“Before the universe existed, it produced the conditions needed for its own existence.”

-“Before life existed, it assembled the machinery required to produce life.”

In every case, the subject would need to exist before existing, which is impossible. Why this matters scientifically. Science depends on repeatable, observable causation. But a self‑creating event cannot be...

-Observed (because the thing doesn’t exist yet)

-Repeated (because the mechanism doesn’t exist yet)

-Explained (because explanation requires the thing to already be present)

A self‑creating event would require...

-A cause that doesn’t exist

-A mechanism that doesn’t exist

-Conditions that don’t exist

This is why self‑creation is not just improbable, it’s scientifically incoherent. The unavoidable conclusion. If something exists today, then something prior must have existed to bring it about. You cannot escape this chain without invoking a contradiction. Either...

-Something eternal, uncaused, and self‑existent exists

or

-You must accept the impossible idea that things create themselves before they exist, and for no reason at all

There is no third option. This is why the question of origins is not simply “What happened first?” It’s What existed first? Because whatever existed first must be...

-Uncaused

-Independent

-Outside the chain of dependent events

-Otherwise, you fall back into the contradiction of self‑creation.

In closing, nothing would exist without God. Lifeless 'THINGS' do not and cannot bring themselves into existence from nothing, from nowhere, for no reason and before they even existed to do anything. This takes more faith than all religions on earth combined!!! It's like believing my house made itself.

Sabbath Doctrine DEBUNKED

Matthew 24:20 ''But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day''

Most assume this "rest day" is Saturday. Compared with Luke 21 we see that at this time Jerusalem will be attacked. Jewish believers must escape quickly. Yet, the gates will most likely be shut and everything will be down due to the sabbath keeping Jews! Israel is in blindness and still tries to obey the Mosaic Law. It will be hard to try to escape on the sabbath day. It would also be hard to escape in winter and to escape with children! Yet, no one makes "having children" a set law for all Christians.

This is not a list of commands, but a list of problems that escaping believers may be hindered by in Jerusalem. Matthew 24:20 cannot be read as a commandment for NT Christians to obey the sabbath commandment. It is written to people who will be in JERUSALEM at that time. Jerusalem will be obeying the sabbath command.

Col 2:16 DEFINITELY REFERS TO WEEKLY SABBATH

Notice "sabbaths" plural, but "it" singular.

Mt 12:5 ''Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?

10 And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.

11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?

12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.''

Here the Jews as well as Christ Himself refer to the weekly sabbath in plural and singular. Notice some more examples of the Holy Spirit interpreting Col.2:16:

Luke 4:31 ''And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.''

Luke 6:2 ''And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?

5 And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

9 Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?

Acts 17:2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three *sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,

Therefore Col.2 is a command to "let no man judge" in regard to the sabbath day. In 59 usages of the word or phrase it means the weekly sabbath. Yet, Adventists insist without nay evidence that it means something different in Col.2! The sabbath day was only a "shadow" of the future Millennial Rest (Heb.4), just like the Old Testament sacrificial lambs were a shadow of Christ. They should not be exalted by New Testament Christians into doctrines.

HISTORICALLY, SUNDAY WAS THE LORD'S DAY AND WAS KEPT BY CHRISTIANS LONG BEFORE CATHOLICISM. WAS KEPT EVEN BY THE NT APOSTLES.

"They (Jewish Christians) also observe the Sabbath, and other discipline of the Jews, just like them; but on the other hand, they also celebrate the Lord's Days very much like us in commemoration of his resurrection." (Eusebius, A.D.324)

"We solemnize the day after Saturday in contradiction to those who call this day their sabbath". (Tertullian, A.D. 200)

"On one day, the first of the week, we assemble ourselves together." (Bardesanes, A.D. 180)

"But Sunday is the day on which we hold our common assembly, because Jesus Christ, our Savoir, on the same day rose from the dead." (Justin Martyr, A.D. 140)

"We keep the eighth day with joyfulness, the day also on which Jesus rose again..." (Barnabas, A.D. 120)

Ac 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. (A.D. 60)

SDA MUST OBEY ALL SABBATHS, NOT JUST ONE.

Ex 31:13 ''Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep, for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you''.

Notice ''Sabbath's'' (PLURAL). Yet the SDA religion only abides by 'ONE'. So they're breaking God's law!!! To obey ''one'' but not all...is breaking all his commands. God says if you break ONE law, you've broken them all. So when the SDA religion only abides in ONE sabbath but not all the rest, which were ALSO LAWS OF GOD, they break all his laws!!!

Thus, SDA are hypocrites.

SDA Abuses the Bible, teaches FALSE DONTRINE

The early church met and worshipped on Sunday.

"On the first day of the week (Sunday), when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul began talking to them, intending to leave the next day, and he prolonged his message until midnight." Acts 20:7
