The new Twin Liquors on N Lamar has a pretty rad run selection.
Most Twin Liquors are pretty wack, idk if it’s the neighborhood or if they’re trying to go a new direction with Twin, but they had a ton of stuff I wasn’t expecting to see. Tons of Uruapan, Hampden, couple different bottles of Hamilton, honestly just a ton of bottles you don’t usually see sitting together in Austin. No markup either which is nice.
My entire life I’ve always skipped Drums, just really never seen any need to listen to 20mins of improv drumming, BUT I finally listened to a few and also have seen video clips and can only think how fucking cool it was to see the guys use every single instrument they brought on stage. I’ve seen phish less than a dozen times, but every time I’m hopeful Fishman will bust out something on one of the random drums surrounding him. I’m definitely not advocating for 20min of drums.
Does anyone know anywhere in town that sells large tortillas to make burritos? I’ve bought them from Chipotle in the past, just wondering if there’s a spot in town that may make em.
Every single time I see them it makes me so mad. The one place I don’t want to have to turn down spectrum is at the fucking grocery store.

May only make one, but this is a really tasty version adding complexity the SC recipe lacks.
Wingzup has hands down the best wings in town and I can’t figure out what they’re doing. Clearly they’re making all their own sauces and the wings aren’t Sysco. We’ve landed on that they have to brine them, but at the volume they’re selling em it really doesn’t seem feasible.
Anybody got the secrets?

I’m seeing DSO next weekend in Austin and am wondering if there’s anyway of knowing when you get there/before hand if they’ll be playing a setlist show or just random jams. On top of that if they’re playing a setlist does anyone there know what it is or you find out after the fact? Stoked nonetheless.
I liked the Shooter trilogy and every Charley album/project is rad in its own way, but holy shit I’ve been wondering where the attitude and flavor has been hiding and apparently Island Records didn’t want him putting any of that out.
It may just be cause it’s 4:30am and I’m going to work, but it’s banger after banger. We’re eating REAL GOOD now dudes and dudettes!
