Need a convertible car seat soon. Help!

My 9 month old baby will likely grow out of her infant car seat in the next few months. We’ve been using the Joie Mint latch car seat and have loved how effortless the install is because we move it between my, my husband’s, and my mom’s car every week.

What convertible car seats out there are also quick & easy to install so we don’t feel like we have to buy 3 car seats? 😅 From my initial shopping, it seems like weight will be a big consideration bc of this. All the rotating seats I’ve looked at are way heavier than the non-rotating seats, so would be even more cumbersome to move frequently vs lighter ones.

Is this a pipe dream? Should we just buy multiple seats (though really don’t want to spend that much) or is this possible?!

Thoughts/advice on moving to Canada from Michigan?

My husband and I are born and raised in Michigan and currently live in Metro Detroit. I’m starting to consider what it would take to move across the border to increase our quality of living — we love Michigan, but are increasingly concerned about the US as a whole.

We’re both 30, have a baby under 1, two dogs, and would like more kids in the future. We own our home. I work a corporate job at one of the Big Three and my husband is an entrepreneur, but has worked corporate previously.

My grandma was born in Quebec, but has since passed. I believe there’s a path to citizenship for me there, but haven’t looked too much into it yet. Curious on advice there!

And curious on advice in general. Is this doable, citizenship or not? What to do about work? I’d love to keep my corporate job in Detroit and commute. A little worried about what my husband would do as his small business is probably too far to commute to.

Pros & cons from people who have made this move or considered it would be so helpful! And on the citizenship path if I’m able to do that!

Carrying my baby and caring for her everyday is taking such a toll on my body. She 4 months old tomorrow and every day for the last month or so I wake up feeling SO sore everywhere. My wrists, shoulders, lower back, legs. I feel like a zombie too, even when I’m getting decent sleep (LO only wakes up once! 🤞🏼)

Is this normal? I am rather petite (5’3” and 100 lbs pre-pregnancy), but so is she… only 12lbs at 4 months. I go back to work in 2 weeks and honestly hope being away from her more will help my body recover! I’m so tired of feeling so beat down 😩

Mabe carrier borrowed from a neighbor before I buy one. She hated the Chicco carrier I had and seems to be tolerating this so far! Though I am concerned it might be a bit wide. She’s 4 months and 12lbs.
