Dashcam installation issues

I have two issues…

So I hard-wired my Orskey dashcam and i piggybacked it onto my 12v charger fuse which isn’t ideal because it doesn’t switch off when the car is off but the problem i can’t understand is that the dashcam will work but the charger won’t. I’m pretty certain ive got it all plugged in right and ive tried with multiple different fuses like the interior lights and even the front fog lights. Weirdly enough the dashcam and the fog lights both worked so I’m wondering if it’s because the other 2 fuses are on the same side which has a big long grey fuse that means the add-a-fuse adapter doesn’t fit properly but i still don’t get it. I also really need my charger to work because I use it all the time. :/

Secondly, I don’t seem to have any fuses I can safely tap into that turn on and off with ignition from the cabin fuses. I don’t have a circuit tester/multimeter but i’m starting to think i should get one.

I have a ford focus 2013. Anyone know what I should do?

Driving to Scotland from Kent

Hi I’m a newly passed driver and will be driving to Scotland sometime around the 16th of September with my mum and our animals (one small dog and one cat) to relocate since I’m starting university. I’ve driven on the motorways to Brighton and back and to Stansted airport no problem, I feel very comfortable driving on motorways. Planning to take a break every 2hrs or so and make it a 2 day trip where we sleepover somewhere that allows pets.

I’m the only driver in the car but we will be driving up with my partner and his mum who’s driving the luton together to help us out.

I’m here to ask for any advice on how to deal with back and shoulder pain while driving for long periods. What times and days may be better to make the journey. What routes may be easier.
Any seat/back pillows you’d recommend?

Tonbridge to Monifieth, about 8hrs 30min not including stops.

Injured Rough Prominent Caterpillar

MY MISTAKE! It’s a Lime Hawkmoth Caterpillar!!!

Hi I found this little guy on the side of a road curled up with an ant on it and it seems to have some sort of anal prolapse. Is there anything I can do to help it? It’s also leaking a dark fluid from its underside and I know it’s likely fatal but I wanted to ask. :(
He is still moving a little bit and I’ve put some willow and rose bush leaves for him to eat.

Maidstone Test Centre

Hi! My test is August 12 at 10am! Any tips for Maidstone test centre or for calming nerves? :) I feel pretty confident and I’ve got a mock test on the 29th so that’ll hopefully illuminate how I’m doing.
