Nostril piercing angle

My nostril is 8 months healed after being re-pierced. It was first pierced 12 years ago by a different piercer, and jewelry was not at this angle. It was closed for about 6 years before being re-pierced. Is the angle off? I used to have a hoop and worry that this new angle won’t allow that.

Just finished reading my sixth Alice Feeney book, Sometimes I Lie, and I have thoughts [SPOILER]

I just finished Sometimes I Lie by Alice Feeney (I’ve read all except Good Bad Girl and I Know Who You Are) and I have one recurring thought every time I finish one of her books.

I understand she likes big, flashy twists that aren’t guessable and changes a lot of the story with the added context. But, I think I’m now tired of the red herrings.

It’s very annoying to me that once a twist has been revealed, I look back on the story and realize so much of it was there just to mislead me and throw me off the scent.

In Sometimes I Lie, >!I really didn’t even understand the whole Edward storyline at all. Clearly he was put there for us to feel bad for Amber, but also give us someone to consider the villain who might’ve put her in a coma somehow.!<

I find this to be a common theme in her books and it’s frustrating. Does anyone else feel this way? Obviously sometimes it works on me lol, as I’ve read six of her books and at this point will just finish her bibliography.
