got this object in a recent playthrough and have no idea what its purpose is. do we use it with someone specific?

i just finished my degree and am working as an adjunct at one local school. i just got offered a second adjunct position at another local school but worry that teaching 2 classes at each college will end my medicaid expansion.

Anyone have any advice about whether i should work both gigs or just one if i want to keep my medicaid expansion (i have chronic illness but not bad enough to be solely on disability).

so i want to start selling stickers of my art to help me survive while i am unemployed. My current art projects are reverse mermaids (top fish bottom human). im wondering if pokemon fish tops are fair use as id only be using part of the pokemon and im creating art that pokemon will not compete with as the human halves show off butts (might be more adult than Pokemons usual audience). if i name my art not related to pokemon will that help avoid copyright infringement (ex: instead of "reverse mermaid, magikarp" i could name it "Karpay the reverse mermaid").

was driving in south fargo today and saw something like 6 or 7 people dressed in police gear and vests arresting one person. Was driving so I tried not to linger but wonder if ICE may be out in town today or if this was an actual arrest for something else. anyone else see a concerning amount of "police" today?

hi to any fellow blood sugar strugglers. i have been on cinnamon supplements to help balance prediabetes for like 5 years; it has literally helped balance my A1C labs, preventing it from going up. now all of a sudden i cant find cinnamon supplements anywhere. not at walmart target kroger cvs walgreens small local grocery stores.

is anyone else struggling to find cinnamon supplments? any advice for finding some?

maybe its just my region but ive struggled to restock my cinnamon for about 3 months now. i feel angry and stupid.

i had 2 proposals for cccc2027 on college writing research but now that ncte decided to get rid of it, I'm worried about finding a place to share my research and meet other scholars in my field.

MLA has never really been for me. Even looking at it now, none of my work really fits into their panels which are mostly lit. However I see they're still accepting just in time panels. Any other former CCCC members thinking about moving your proposals over to MLA or trying to organize a panel more related to writing studies or rhet/comp?

Profs in diff depts, what was your next move after your field's largest annual conference just ended its run? I'm hoping this isnt a give up and check out situation. i love going to conferences every year to feel invigorated with new ideas for research and teaching.

i have done quite a few playthroughs. is there a way to >!save all 3 people you take on the final mission with you? the best ending i got was score Z by killing "dante" and the lich, bringing Kaleidoscope, Ramses, and Karolina, and doing a shoot out where i passed every check on the aerotram but even with all the checks i passed i still couldnt save Kaleidoscope and my people on the bottom floor. !<

Also was kind of interested as my last run had a formal ending for my old friend Ignatz. Is >!there a choice we make after sharing the photos that saves or sends him to his death!<?

anyone else find it strange that only some characters refer to themselves in third person when they talk (ex: instead of saying "I think" Carmuna will say "Carmuna thinks.") However not every character does this. Carmuna does it most. Then Maurito. Ignatz too.

ngl some of the characters are more likeable than others. i personally love Ramses and kinda hate Holocene>! (idk if its his personality or him being affected by mold!<).

my local grocery store reorganized the store and instead of a gluten free section they have mixed the gf foods woth nongf foods (ex gf bread next to glutenous breads).

I only have a sensitivity so it isnt that bad for me but i mentioned to my partner this seems like a potential cross contamination or food confusion issue that makes the store less accessible imo. he said if it negatively affected someone with an allergy that person just shouldnt shop.

Thoughts from any gf friends or celiacs? aita or is my store downgrading?

hi yall. i teach composition and was wondering if anyone ever tried kahoot or another type of speed quiz to combat AI.

I'm thinking students sign in with their firstname lasy initial and the first 10ish minutes of class is a kahoot about the readings to see if they read or learned from the reading. Kahoot does realtime feedback so i can se ehow many students get questions right and are ready to participate in class activity or not but also can get results afterwards that i can use as attendance/quiz grade. i think the timed option would prevent students from using AI to cheat as each question and answers are only displayed for a set amount of seconds.

Thoughts?
