Has anyone come across coffee filter paper that has actually been independently tested for contaminants?

I’m looking for filter paper that’s been tested for things like PFAS, heavy metals, or other potentially harmful chemicals used during manufacturing. It doesn’t necessarily have to be marketed as “non-toxic”—I’m more interested in actual lab testing than marketing claims.

We’re using the filters for espresso, but I’m perfectly happy to buy larger filters and cut them down ourselves if there’s a brand that’s been tested.

Has anyone found a brand with published third-party lab results or knows of any independent testing that’s been done?

When renting through Turo, are there any short-term insurance options that provide primary coverage for just the rental period?

My goal is to keep any potential claim completely separate from my personal auto policy. I’m less interested in annual policies that happen to cover Turo and more interested in temporary coverage I can purchase on a per-trip basis.

Has anyone found a good solution for this?
