Tooth infection help

Hi, I need recommendations for this situation. My cat underwent a tooth extraction on Wednesday the 12th (60h ago). Today I noticed that the area looks bad, she's a difficult cat and doesn't like getting handled, so these pictures are the best I could take.

The problem is, the clinic where she got surgery is closed on weekends, and we don't know if she got any antibiotics injected during the operation. After discharge I was only prescribed Loxicom (Meloxicam) to give at home, so I suspect she already has a long-lasting antibiotic, but I can't be sure.

I called two emergency vets because I wanted to take her in, but they told me they can't prescribe another antibiotic because we don't know which one she already has (it's probably Convenia, which is a cephalosporin, but it could be another one, and antibiotics can interact negatively with each other, which could harm her kidneys and liver).

I'm super worried because I know tooth infections can be dangerous, and I think it has gotten very bad in 2 days.

Any recommendations on what to do? I feel my hands are tied, and I don't know if we can wait two more days. In addition, in my country, there's a law that regulates antibiotic use and veterinarians can only prescribe something that is not broad-spectrum with an antibiogram and culture.

Thank you.

TLDR: infection 60h after tooth extraction, clinic is closed, emergency vets can't prescribe antibiotics without knowing if she got any already and which one

Additional info: she's eating and is not lethargic. She also purrs and leans onto me when I pet her. From outside the lip isn't swollen.

Life after separation

Hello! I have a question regarding the separation of bonded pairs. My sister goes to a cat cafe and told me this story. There was a litter of cats that had been there since they were kittens, and two in particular were bonded (a male void and a female tortimese). The void was shyer and the female was more outgoing and would interact more with humans, but they were always together.

The thing is, a vet who works there decided after two years that she wanted to adopt the female because "she already had a cat and the void wouldn't adapt well to the change." That's BS. If she only wanted one cat, there were plenty of non-bonded cats available, she probably just didn't want to deal with him because he wasn't "as loving" or "as pretty."

Anyways, after she left, he would hide most of the day and meow at a picture of his sister on the wall ;(((((

She was adopted six months ago, and now he is in "rehab" to help him adapt.

My question is, what is life like for a bonded pair after separation? Specifically for the cat that relied more on the other and is now left in an environment that isn't ideal for him? Can he outcome this and be happy? Thank you
