We know interest in physical media is diminishing and now that Playstation is doing away with disc's does anyone else wonder when blu rays/dvds will stop being produced?
Or do you think they will remain niche?
If Cere had been there with Maul could she and Maul have defeated vader given how they both have an understanding to beat Vader.
Bonus question. Maul without his injured leg could he beat Cere? Or would Cere squash him?
The pre-orders have gone up $10-$20
The apothecary diaries were $59.99 now 79.99
Rascal was 129 and now 139
Its pretty crazy
I frequent bookstores and barnes and noble a lot and its crazy how Legends books even ones in poor quality just fly off of shelves.
I thought the reprinting of Legends was silly but they outsell the new stuff like crazy(not bringing up disney and Legends debate just stating my observations)
My two barnes and noble stopped carrying high republic novels after wave 2 because no one bought them and were just cluttering shelves and just got shipped over to Ollie's or stolen and sold at 2nd and Charles where they remain until a scalpers grabbed all 6 copies of The Rising Storm for $8 a piece
My local book store has had 2 copies of the aftermath trilogy one hardcover and one in soft cover for well over a year and neither trilogy has sold while high republic books also grow dusty as well. Meanwhile any random Legends book even if it is in extremely low quality flies off the shelf in about a weeks time. Mind you canon books do sell inferno squad and the luke skywalker canoj book sold but they were listed for about $2.40 and 3.20 respectively so I think it was due to pricing more than anything.
I just think its crazy how books written 20 to 30 years ago still hold this level of popularity.
I hope one day star wars can return to that level of hype that new books can fly off shelves and be that sought after.
Like a extremely worn paperback copy of crystal star was put on shelves for $6.20 and it was gone in less than a week. I saw it on a Sunday and went in on wednesday and it was gone.
Its very safe to say that the sequels sucked and hated by many and turned off a very large part of the fandom.
However there were a lot of people who still loved star wars and had some goodwill that maybe there was some hope things could be corrected or fixed.
General audiences didnt care for much but we're obviously dissatisfied with the sequels given how many didnt return for the rise of skywalker/bought the toys etc.
However the Acolyte i believe was the final blow. The hate that show got for all of its messed up decisions was crazy. It literally pissed all over star wars.
For anyone who decided to check on star wars clearly saw the shit the show was and bounced and said, "fuck that"
The acolyte showed star wars was doubling down on attacking fans and being just straight assholes to everyone.
So what do you think? Do you think the acolyte was the death blow or was it something else?
Bonus rant:
The High republic books also killed the books as my local barnes and nobles stopped carrying them after the 3rd arc because no one was buying them. My used bookstore still hasnt sold any of them even after months of them sitting there while legends books fly off the shelves.
Given how easily Din defeated 3 at-ats in mando and grogu could he defeat the imperial forces at Hoth?
Who would win?
I am curious what the Fandom thinks
This is whatever you consider to be the peak versions of the characters going at it.
Location Geonisis Arena in the center of the arena.
They have no knowledge of each other.
Can anyone give me a card list with pictures for goddess story liquid fantasy?
When I watched Last Jedi opening night my theater was so pissed. They cheered when Holdo was arrested and booed when Luke died.
You would think test screenings would've hinted at this but sadly either disney ignored this or did something different.
I still hate The Last Jedi and hope it will be get retconned soon!!!!!
