Lenovo and 2023 secure boot certs

As I understand it, Microsoft is including the 2023 boot certificates through monthly security updates. What I don’t understand exactly is on our Lenovo fleet, do we still need to update the bios on them along with this?

Ariens platinum 24 sho buying questions

I’m looking at buying a platinum 24 and had a couple couples

  1. We’ve got a pretty decent asphalt driveway that is somewhat rough in some spots, but not terrible. Will the plastic skids that come with the blower be ok? I know they wear down overtime , but do they have to be replaced pretty quick? Should I have the dealer put on the metal skids?

  2. Is it worth having the dealer put a weight bar on the front that Ariens sells?

Crush washer size oil drain plug

I’ve got a generator with a m12 size crush washer for the oil drain plug. I am told the original crush washer size is 21mm for the outer diameter but I can only get my hands on 18mm. Support is saying the minimum should be 20mm but I just can’t find it. Does the outer diameter really matter?

True fuel and gas container

Going to likely be a stupid question but wanted to be sure. Is it okay to pour the truefuel no ethanol stuff into regular gas containers? Does it shorten the life span of the gas? I’ve got a few no spill cans I’d like to use with the trufuel

VMware workstation and display locking up

Time to time when I have a vm running in VMware workstation and I’m work outside of it, the display kinda locks up. When I click back into the vm it can sometimes take several mins to unlock and let me work in it again. Seems like maybe a rendering thing not sure. Anyone have any suggestions?

VMware workstation 17 pro

Also, anyone move to 26h1 from 17 pro? Worth it?

Good Culture cottage cheese is terrible now …

I’ve been eating the 4% good culture cottage cheese for a while now. The last two containers I received smell nasty and have a lot more water in them than usual. I’ve read online that others have experienced this as well. I used to like it because it was pasty but now it’s just gross.

Have any of you experienced this as well?
