Why do people tell me my skin looks flawless?

I have hyperpigmentation and still break out, yet people still compliment my skin. I wear foundation sometimes and it gives my face a dewy effect but it doesn’t hide my blemishes 100%. But on days when I don’t wear makeup I still get compliments. I see people on the train with perfect skin but yet I get compliments on mine when it’s not. Yes I like the compliments but I find it strange because my skin isn’t flawless?

Is this interview process normal? JP Morgan

Applied for a mid level marketing position in may.

Today, I Received an interview request from the interview coordinator. I gave him my availability and my first interview is with the VP next week.

Is it normal to skip the recruiter screening?

Final round right before VP went on international vacation. Am I first choice or on standby?

Hey everyone, looking for a reality check on a 7-week interview loop for a marketing manager role at a major global agency network.

**I’ve passed a total of 5 rounds since mid-May:
**1. Recruiter
**2. Marketing Director (Hiring Manager)
**3. Senior Manager
**4. Comms Director
**5. VP

**The Catch: They rushed to squeeze me into that 5th and final round with the VP right before July 4th weekend. The VP mentioned was heading for a vacation to Spain.

Since then—complete silence. The recruiter estimated an update by "next week," but we are past the mid-week point now.

My two theories:

  1. First Choice: I cleared 4 rounds, and the recruiter scrambled to get me in front of the VP** ***before*** **her flight so the pipeline wouldn't freeze for 2 weeks. The current delay is just corporate bureaucracy and a VP catching up on post-vacation emails.

  2. Standby/Runner-Up: They are keeping me warm while waiting on a primary candidate to accept.

Would a VP really take a final-round interview while practically holding her passport if she was doing it for multiple candidates?

How do I get rid of my back blemishes?

I wash my sheets twice a month, sometimes every 3 weeks. I sleep in clean shirts, rarely do I sleep without a shirt. I’ve always had these blemishes but I’ve never tried to get rid of them because I don’t notice my back. lol

My dog sleeps on my bed sometimes but she’s not gross. I only take her outside for the restroom.

What type of body wash will get rid of these? How long will it take?
