I work in a rental for film equipment and this is how both of our newest (literally just bought) Nanlux Evoke 2400B came back from their first time being out on set..

WHAT the HELL did they do with 'em???

This is extremely infuriating not only because how the hell are you treating things that aren't yours?! Plus each set should be at least about 5000€.

PLUS what about the people after you who want to rent those lights??? Of course, a scratch or damage can happen but what is this?? Did they play football downhill with it?

EDIT: One lamp actually had to go into repair because of coming back damaged. Also there is more than just one picture

Hey, I am pretty new to sewing and I think I messed up the grainline / orientation when cutting a pattern piece.

I had the selvage running like this:

And I realized the correct orientation for the pattern piece should have been:

👈🏻👈🏻👈🏻👈🏻

___________

But instead, I placed/cut it like this:

👉🏻👉🏻👉🏻👉🏻

___________

So basically, I mirrored the piece.

The sewing pattern piece on the blue fabric (blue) is the correct way but on the white fabric the same piece ended up mirrored compared to how it should be.

Now I’m wondering if this is actually a problem for my project?

I'm trying to do a summer dress (pattern S9949 - dress A to be precise) made out of a cute flower fabric (98% cotton, 2% elastane, see second picture)

The fabric is folded in the middle with the pretty side on the inside. Pattern piece says "CUT 2"

Any help would be appreciated ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you in advance 🌞
