Post-lap recovery?

What was your lap surgery recover like? I have a weeklong trip planned where there will be some hiking and biking. Schedule surgery after or would I be okay with surgery a week before the trip?

Thinking about getting one but all I’m seeing are issues with the “new strips?” Has that been fixed?

Also is the new device worth getting for $30 extra over the old one? I have an iPhone so either will work for me.

Has anyone had suspected silent endo, had lap surgery, and didn't have endo?

I'm in the very beginning stages of wondering if I might have silent endo. Will be meeting with endo specialist to discuss lap surgery. I'm pretty convinced that I do have it after my deep dive today, but also nervous to go through surgery and all the risks associated with it only to find out I don't have endo at all.

Has anyone been through lap surgery and didn't have endo?

History:

  • Trying for baby #2 since January 2025, no success except post-HSG
  • All 3 natural conceptions (1 living child, 2 chemicals) happened within 1-2 months of HSG procedures. No other natural conceptions despite perfect timing
  • IVF fresh transfer resulted in ectopic, treated with MTX
  • RPL panel normal
  • Mom has endometriosis and adenomyosis

Hormonal pattern:

  • Consistently elevated Day 3 estradiol (99-113) across multiple monitored cycles
  • Early ovulation (around day 10-12) and early follicle recruitment (12mm follicle on day 3 in one cycle)
  • AMH declined from 4.88 (Dec 2021) to 2.6 (Oct 2025). Nearly 50% decline in 4 years

Symptoms:

  • Luteal phase spotting starting as early as 3-7dpo, resolves completely on progesterone supplementation
  • Periods start with brown spotting before true flow
  • Severe ovulation pain all day, sometimes two days, limits activity
  • Cyclical fatigue
  • No painful periods, no pain with sex

Why I suspect endo specifically:

  • HSG-dependent conception pattern: conceive only after HSG flush, suggesting chronic inflammatory environment that temporarily clears post-HSG
  • HSG effectiveness appears to be declining over time, could be consistent with progressive endo?
  • Endo is estrogen-dependent and I have elevated baseline E2
  • Accelerated AMH decline associated with endo even without endometriomas

Just humor me. I always think I see a line early, but *this time* I swear I really see a shadow. Only 7 dpo so it’s probably just line eyes, but maybe?

I'm now in the beginning of my 2nd cycle post ectopic. I ovulated 2 weeks after HCG reached zero, had a period, and I'm now on cycle day 5 of the next cycle. My ectopic was on my right tube and I'm having cramping on the right side. I'm not ovulating right now, it's too early and no signs of that so it's not that. Just curious if anyone has had cramping like this. It's right around my pelvis and down into my thigh and only on the one side. I have an HSG scheduled tomorrow so I'm curious if they'll see anything to explain it.
