Noob: Kodi as Google TV Replacement?

I am experienced and competent with plenty of tech, but only ever dabbled with Kodi before. I was put off because of how much it felt like a computer interface: folders, Pictures, Games etc. I know that I can remove a lot of this but it still felt very much NOT a TV.

We use Google TV at the moment - both native on Sony TV and on Chromecast devices. Usually watching BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Stremio, or Netflix. I don't have a need to access music or photos in anyway, nor my own library of content.

I am aware of how slow the UX for Google TV is - and feels like it is getting worse. I want a similar experience, but faster.

Ideally I want easy searching across multiple services (Stremio does this ish) and ability to access both live and on demand TV programmes.

Is Kodi my answer? Can anyone give me some screenshots/clips or search terms to encourage me to put the effort into this?

Why 1040 tea bags / 3.25kg?

Does anyone know why these large packs of tea are in such weird volumes? Like make to 3kg and 960 bags or 3.125kg and 1000 bags.

Is there a standard tea consumption rate I'm not aware of?

Islington School Streets Scheme Feedback

Hi - I am involved in discussions at our local primary school where we are trying to reduce traffic use on a very small cul-de-sac road outside the school at drop off and pick up times. This is with a view to improve safety as we have approx. 40 cars using the small road between 08:45 and 09:15, all having to do a multi-point turn with approx. 250 children heading into school at that time.

Despite the school consistently asking parents to use other places to park (there is a large supermarket car park 150 meters away), this request is routinely ignored.

We have seen Islington has a "School Streets Scheme" that looks like it has been in place since 2019.

I am looking for feedback on the efficacy of this scheme - both from a school/parent view point and non-school viewpoint.

Edit: Note I do not know the area of Islington at all.

Shed Wall Replacement 10ft x 6ft - options

I tried this on DIY UK and got no response so trying here ...

I have an old shed 10x8ft shed (or "summer house" if you believe my wife) with one wall that gets LOTS of sunshine and had no guttering for years - and it has weathered into obliteration. I did a makeshift second wall using two old fence panels (which worked pretty well actually) but it has come time to make a proper fix. I am thinking of putting a raised planter along the side. I am wondering if there is an alternative to replacing the tongue and groove 94mm wide lengths to fix this wall with.

Seeing as I don't particularly care what it looks like (it is hidden away at the end of the garden) I am wondering if there is an alternative way to fix it that might last longer. I'm thinking a bit like those full wall panels in showers instead of tiles (but a shed version) - what are my options?

Also, I am finding it hard to decide on tongue and groove or shadow gap cladding. I assume it's just an aesthetic and I will choose the cheapest - but where I am going to replace and aim to fit-in with existing, I'm guessing it needs to be the same profile.

Advice and encouragement welcome!

For context I have gone the full loop of "fix it up it's fine" to "tear it down and put in a full new solid base and electrics and solar panels and a sliding gate and why not buy a new car while you're at it?" circle of thinking.

I'm going to patch up.
