Is it ready to be put in dirt?
Root bound from day 1

Root bound from day 1
Bit of background:
My calathea beats the stereotype of wanting to die, I consistently forget to water it, but I am going to commit to doing better. I use a grow light 10ish hours a day, my apartment is north facing and windows are under a balcony so no natural light here. I water with bottled water because I have rly hard water and the calatheas did throw a fit about that in the past. Don’t typically fertilize. Also, it might be root bound idk.
I suspect that I didn’t warm my milk enough before I added it, but I’m not sure. How will this impact the recipe? I’ve made it successfully in the past but I don’t remember this happening
The pellicle doesn’t look like what I’m used to. It’s been fermenting for a couple weeks and my apartment is pretty warm (around 75°F). I had this in the fridge for a while as backup and then took it out and added sweet tea to restart it - my other one molded 😭. Now I’m paranoid… is this normal?
