VFT questions. Not thriving.

I love this community, it has been so helpful when I am struggling with my carniverous plants. So now I need more of your brain power! My VFT is just struggling this year. They are under 16 hours of high-powered grow lights. They are watered with only distilled water. I did repot them 3 or more months ago because they seemed to be struggling. I was worried the substrate was contributing and moved them from a carnivorous plant mix to sphagness moss and perilite. They were in the fridge for hibernation this winter. Some of the traps are not reaching maturity or opening before they start to turn black. I don't feel like it's getting as full as it was last year. It seems slower growing than last year. One of the rhizomes is longer and comes out of the planting medium the rest of them are planted at normal depth. Some of the traps do have insects in them. I know that hibernation will come in October and I'll need to put them in the refrigerator again, I'm worried they're not healthy enough for hibernation at this point. Any and all ideas would be welcome please!

What are these?

I was filling the pot of my purple pitcher plant and noticed these white flecks in the water. Then they moved. What in the world.

Taking the dive!

I picked these guys up at a local nursery. The substrate was wet and dense. All I did was very carefully remove the organic soil and repot them in 90% pumice and 10% bonsai mix. Very very very little organic material. I have not watered and I don't think they need it from what I've read. They will also have a good quality grow light for 12 to 16 hours. Can you offer me additional advice please!?!

More advice needed!

I feel like I always get pointed in the right direction when I come to this group. So why does my poly have such dull leaves? These are older leaves and she hasn't put out a new one for a while. We did have to start from scratch after a case of root rot. I feel like I'm having the least success with this Alocasia.

New babies!

I ordered a couple of new babies from a Plamstreet shop and they are soooo amazing!! BetterLife_Botanical sent these 2 and they were packaged so well! The plants are beautiful and in amazing health. Shipping was so fast. One is a melo tricolor and the other is a dragon scale albo.

Can to much red be a bad thing?

I've had this plant for about 3 years and she seems to do great. Multiple beautiful pitchers and she even has a baby. Someone mentioned that too much light can destroy the chlorophyll. Her most recent leaves are very red. Could this indicate too much light or she's just happy? Thanks for the help everyone!!

Followed your advice

I asked recently for advice ordering plants online! I ordered from a shop on Etsy call succulentfairygarden. The shipping was awesome, the plants arrived in great shape and I am very thankful for your advice! Thank you all.

Identification help and a question about my verigated frydek.

Will someone help with the identity of photos 1-5 please. I think I know them but would love confirmation. Also the 6th picture is of a v. Frydek that I grew from a corm, it's leaf has very little green. Could this be a problem or is it a wait and see situation? Thank you all for your help!

Struggling this year

My fly traps usually do really well and this year they seem to be struggling. The traps seem to be dying off faster and not producing traps as quickly. The smallest plant (picture #1) was divided from the largest just last year right before I put them in the fridge. The medium plant (picture #2) was purchased this year from Lowes. The third and largest plant (picture #3) I've had for a few summers. My other carniverous plants are doing great and I would love to hear your opinions. My yard is all shade so outside is not an option. They are under multiple grow lights that are on 12 to 16 hours a day. They get only distilled water. They are in sphagnum moss. Ideas?? I added a couple of pictures of my other plants, just to show how happy they are.

Tiny little traps

As I was putting everyone in the fridge last fall I found some very little babies. I didn't know if they would make through hibernation. Well they did and are doing great!! So cute!

I revamped an old electric fireplace.

After removing the heating element I added grow lights. I am getting a back drop to make it more cozy. These guys are so happy!
