Yoga with Kassandra or Charlie Follows

I find Adriene a little too easy, so I've been trying to find another YouTuber to use when practicing at home. I've seen both of these channels recommended a lot, and I'm struggling to choose which one to try first. Which of the two do you prefer/would recommend, and why?

YouTube workout channels

Does anyone have any recommendations for good follow-along YouTube workout channels for women? Particularly any that are around 30 mins or less, and have a good variety of types of workouts. I really like Nourishmovelove, but she doesn’t have as many stretching videos as I would like, and she seems pretty focused on pregnancy/postpartum which doesn’t really apply to me since I’m childfree.

Paranoid about hitting Gdocs character limit

I love the idea of tabs in Google Docs in theory. My only worry is hitting the character limit. I tend to be a very wordy writer and I write lots of long fics. Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with this? Most of my long fics at the moment have been around 100k words, but I have a few planned projects that I suspect may wind up longer than that. Should I just use separate documents for chapters instead?

Feeling pressured to include pregnancy

This is just a vent, 'cos I'm tired.

I write primarily OC x Canon fanfic for one couple. My fandom is pretty pregnancy/baby crazy. Nearly every fic I've read, especially in the OC x Canon side of the fandom and in fics featuring this canon character, eventually involves pregnancy and babies in some way. And that's fine! I have no problem with other authors writing those types of stories. I don't even mind reading those fics sometimes--and even if I did, I'm a big girl. I can easily click off a fic if it ends up not being to my tastes.

But pregnancy and kids have never been my thing. I'm staunchly childfree irl, and writing those topics simply doesn't appeal to me at all. And while my OC is very much not a self insert, she also is not the type of person who would want to (or should) become a mother. So I made the decision early on that she and canon character would be a childfree couple in my fics.

This has been a...controversial decision amongst my readers. I constantly get asks on my Tumblr about "what if they had a baby" or passive aggressively trying to convince me to write them eventually having kids. I try not to let it irritate me too much, because I'm sure a lot of readers are just excited and don't really mean any real harm. But it's become frustrating to me that I spent all this time building (what I hope to be, at least) a complex, layered OC and relationship between her and the canon character, and all anyone wants to talk about with me regarding them are hypothetical babies that I've made clear over and over again will NEVER happen.

And that's not even getting into the nastier side of the fandom, which started sending me hate telling me that "canon character would never love or stay with OC if he can't have kids with her."

I'm just frustrated. While I have NO PROBLEM with other authors writing pregnancy/baby fics, I won't lie and say that it didn't get to me a little that those were ALL there seemed to be in the fandom. Which is part of why I decided to write my couple the way I did. And I am fully content with just writing the childfree content that I want to see in the fandom myself. But all this pressure to write pregnancy and babies into my fics makes me want to scream because there are SO MANY other wonderful fics that these people could go read instead if they want pregnancy stories.

EDIT: Oh wow, I wasn't expecting this to get so many comments! Thank you all so much for being so sweet and supportive and giving such good advice!

I can't respond to everyone, so here's a few answers to some recurring questions:

- The fandom is Peaky Blinders. I was on the fence about mentioning it, but tbh the fandom is pretty much dead at this point so what the hell. I should have specified that the pregnancy/baby craziness seems to be especially focused on Tumblr. I haven't read enough fics for the fandom on AO3 to say for sure if it's just as prevalent on there or not.

- The canon character my OC is paired with DOES have kids in the show, but they're all unplanned and it's even somewhat ambiguous if he even wanted/enjoyed being a father. Especially based on some dialogue he had in the later parts of the series. Personally my interpretation of him in canon is that he's a bit ambivalent on the subject. If his partner wanted kids, he'd be willing to have them, but if not, he'd be okay with that too.

Is it wrong to ask people not to use your OC in their fics?

This is something I've been pondering for a while. I have an OC who I regularly write OC x Canon fics with. A few pockets of my fandom are very comfortable with sharing OCs/borrowing other people's OCs to feature in fics.

I've already had one incident where someone took my OC and started writing her in a way that made me feel incredibly uncomfortable, to the point that I had to ask them to stop using her in their stories. (It felt like they were using their story to bash my OC and her relationship with the canon character I write her with, and it just made me very sad.)

I was considering making a post on my Tumblr politely asking people not to use my OC in their fics. But I can't help but feel like it might be hypocritical considering the nature of fanfic? What do you think?
