I don’t know what I did wrong this summer

I would appreciate any advice. I am feeling so dejected and like all of my research has been for nothing. This was my first time ever growing plants from seedlings and it all was going so well until July! I grew every single one from seed starting in April. I feel like a bad mother now as the only thing that is doing okay are my green onions for some reason🥺

1st pic from top to bottom:
Cosmos - first bloom May 20 and continued until maybe mid June

Zinnias - first bloom June 23, but got hit hard with powdery mildew. I had maybe 5-6 blooms since then with one more starting this week.
I sprayed twice over the last three months with a spray to help stop it.

Statice - only started blooming a few weeks ago, have had a lot of problems with overwatering and getting yellow leaves. It took me a long time to figure out how much to water.

Asters & Odamaki in the long planter (also 2nd picture close up) - are completely fried now. I had huge problems with ダチソウグンバイ chrysanthemum lace bugs in the pot and then later spider mites on the asters. I used a spray from DCM that said it works on both twice over 2 months.

Location: Southern Aichi in Mikawa area

Fertilizer: About one month ago I used some fertilizer pellets from Daiso in each pot but used a little less than the recommended 24g as last year I over fertilized.

Water: I’m watering every 3-4 days now as the soil doesn’t completely dry until then. I’m using tap water as I don’t have filtered.

Soil: The soil is for flowers/vegetables from DCM and I mixed some sphagnum moss in about 2 months ago to try to keep the soil moist longer but I don’t think it helped.

3rd picture shows the bottom of one of the pots. They all have this white buildup(?) on the bottoms and I’m not sure what it is.

Edit: forgot to add location

Guys I thought this was going to be fun

I just spent about an hour using a variety of tweezers, crafting pliers, and needles to untangle thread that went rogue during a bobbin refill. Completely stuck and looped multiple times around one of the furthest internal parts of my machine.
I felt like I was doing surgery😭 I brought out the headlamp!

Need my entries/exits from the U. S. - told it doesn’t exist

Hi there hoping for some help from anyone who’s experienced this before.

I am an American citizen living in Japan and am going through an extremely annoying driver’s license conversion process. I need to prove that I stayed within the United States for a certain period of time after receiving my driver’s license.

I submitted my request to CBP with my passport number, copy of said passport, full info about myself and explained in a few short sentences why I’m asking for this info. I explicitly said I am requesting my own entries/exits.

The response I got was as follows:
“We conducted a comprehensive search of files within the CBP databases for records that would be responsive to your request. Unfortunately, we were unable to locate or identify any responsive records, based upon the information you provided in your request.”

I have left the country 7 times in the last 28 years - how is there no info?

What should I do now? How can I rewrite my request to make this work in my appeal?

Edit to include my exact request:
“I would like to request my travel history that shows the details of all of my entries and exits to/from the United States from January 2016 to January 2026.”

Who are these horrible little bugs and how can I evict them?

In my planter box and some of the leaves on other plants have little black spots.

Remedy for small black fruit flies/gnats in container pots?

I saw some online say cinnamon or doing a vinegar spray - but then other people said that won’t work, only chemical treatment?
I have them in one container pot outside.

I saw that it is caused from overwatering but I’m only watering when the soil is dry (I do a finger check). Should I not use so much water? Or be more sporadic?

Given machine from a friend, cannot change ramp settings

Edit:
This is so embarrassing but after turning the machine off and then back on, I was able to turn off the ramp time. I’m editing this post so anyone in the future can find this and laugh at my failure of forgetting to try the most basic solution lol!

A friend’s family member passed away so they graciously gave me their fairly new ResMed AirSense 11. I have a mild sleep apnea diagnosis and when I mentioned to my sleep clinic nurse that I had the opportunity to get a free machine, she encouraged me to take it.

I’ve not been able to register it on the myAir app (I assume it’s still registered to the previous owner) and cannot change the ramp settings even within the clinical view. It is greyed out and just says Ramp - Auto.

I’ve tried searching for a solution online but cannot find one. The air pressure is always at 7 when I put it on and it gave me a headache within 10 minutes of using it.
