Is this kitbash too much for a character unit?

First time painting a banner and it was a so fun to paint!

I know he's going on a 40mm base so I'm going to have to trim up High Marshal Helbrecht base

I still have to fill in a bunch of places and make it less heretical so I was wondering whats the best kit for a bunch of DA bits?

I feel as though using chaos knights wasn't the easiest way to do this but I still like where this is going!

All C&C is very much welcomed pls help me better myself as a painter!

I like to think she can actually fly :)
