I am 34M, am going to go to couple of singles mixers in the city. The problem is I am a bit socially awkward and do not possess great conversational skill. I can maintain conversation. The thing is after like the basics - job, hobbies, interests, I don't know what else to talk about. I do see people talk continuously and often wonder, what do they talk about? What is it that makes women interested in talking with them like what holds it interesting.

I live alone, don't drive, and don't really have anyone to travel with, so I'm looking for organized day trips around the nearby areas.

I've used Travelling Chicken before and enjoyed it, but most of their trips are hiking-focused. I'm wondering if there are other tour operators that run similar day trips, preferably with a wider variety of destinations and activities (not just hikes).

Any recommendations would be appreciated! Thanks.

Currently my passport is expiring on Apr 2028 and I am on a closed work permit which is expiring on Oct 2026. My company is willing to apply for extend work permit by 2 years but it will only extend till passport expiry.

I wanted to my renew passport before applying for work permit. Has anyone done this from BLS? In site it says it can only be done 1 year before but I have heard from some that they even do it if it more than 1 year away.

People similar to my situation who are alone with no friends or family in the city, do you have something going for the long weekend? Just thought, would ask. Feeling a bit lonely in the city

I 34M matched with a girl and a great first date! She said she wanted to meet again. When I asked her, she just mentioned the day and has then has been radio silent since 4 days. We were supposed to meet tomorrow and looks like i have been ghosted again! Everytime I feel connected to a person, they just ghost me. I don't genuinely know what's wrong with me - if I am just ugly or not desirable to anyone.

I am so tired. How do yo deal with this? How do you keep on going?
